Onatah is a small town 30 min away from Idril City - one of the main cities of Atlantis. In this mix of cultures of a country there's many people of the world blending together. Much as in our world, common folk don't truly believe in the supernatural though they don’t dismiss it completely. But the paranormal is here and it isn't just good or bad - it is like all things, complex.
Supernatural is all around, though it is hiding - in the shadows, in plain sight, everywhere.
In this world, Atlantis was never a speculative civilization consumed by the sea. It was a civilization lost to time as much as the Maian one - clearly observable, researchable and not entirely dead. But the island/continent (it's like Australia, but smaller) contrary to many other has stood against colonization from many countries that tried. Many nations were welcomed but no hostile takeovers managed to last. Atlantis was and still is a mixture of cultures from all around, but with appreciation for all the unique and similar aspects of them.
Modern Atlantis is not very different from the rest of the world - it has it's ups and downs, though much like northern european countries, it ranks pretty high on the happiness of living scale.
Landscape is foresty & hilly most of the time. There are lakes and beaches and rivers. Mountains and canyons. Atlantis is most famous from it's watermill power, crab & shrimp snacks, colorful variety of bellflowers and foggy mornings.
The capital of Atlantis is Plato City.
