Project Asterisk London

The city of London sits as the Urban heart of England. A dark and gritty metropolis, sprawling with a mesh of torn and squalid boroughs full of riff-raff and hooligans and the glittering towers laying down shadow on the one below. The endless gloomy skies and rain mask the city and the esoteric acts below and that which it doesn't, hides in the web of abandoned and forgotten tube tunnels. A world of subterranean life thrives where the scum of the earth hide from their captors and murders. The grimy and dark cathedrals, home to satanic and evil cults, while rich business men sit on top of their shiny windowed castles controlling the city and everyone in it. This is London.

House Rules

Contractors from Asterisk London Are portable, and may play in Contracts in other Playgroups.
Asterisk London grants 6 Experience points to GMs who achieve the Golden Ratio.
  • Citizenship: Active Players are expected to GM Contracts from time to time. If you have played as a Contractor in your most recent six Contracts, you are barred from playing in The Illumination again until you GM.
  • Supernatural Powers: All non-mastery, non-concealed Powers must be obviously supernatural when activated or grant a mutation that marks the wielder as supernatural or bizarre if discovered.

Full Setting Description

The regular people of this grimy city do not know commonplace of the supernatural, however the underground criminal organizations and supernatural foundations manipulate the supernatural and those affected by it. It flows through powerful individuals and their disciples shaping and forming the city of London under their will.
