Tragedy tonight as the lives of at least 7 people were lost after a riot in Oil City, California. The gathering, originally a simple protest for the rights of the Unique, turned hostile as members of the free activist group calling themselves Equilibrium stormed the gathering, resulting in killing of 7 people and leaving many more in critical condition. Eyewitness testimonials report the members being clad in silver armor and all weilding midevil era weapons. The supposed head of the group was an individual calling themselves Reno, who made a speech after the group assumed control of the event. One of the members of the crowd managed to capture this speech on record which we will play for you now. Please be warned that the following audio may be considered disturbing.
"...look at all of you. Sitting politely while those heretics use our kind for their own benefit? You call yourselves our brothers and sisters yet you know nothing about us. You are no better than those who rejected the gifts they were given swearing themselves to that snake Hoss. *sounds of shuffling feet and confused people* Look at them. Traitors, weaklings... There are no place for people like this in this world. It is time for something to be done, something no one else is brave enough to do. *screams and the sounds of bodies falling over as the recording erupts into chaos before cutting*"
Among the dead were Noah Chase, aka Twinstripe, a member of the free group !Radiohead, and Sarah Clark, the daughter of the local Primus branch's overseer. Thankfully a Unique task force was able to arrive on scene within minutes and prevent further deaths. This is simply the latest in a recent string of attacks done by free activist groups in the recent months.
The Director of Primus gave a statement saying the following, "It's a tragic thing. No loss of innocent life is acceptable to us at Primus. My condolences to the families of the victims, to those at the branch in Bakersfield, and to !Radiohead. There was not a single group unaffected tonight, free or unique. Tonight, we are all hurting. I would like to personally extend an offer financial assistance to all those effected and their families, as well as covering any expenses that may result from this truly horrific act at no cost...to those in !Radiohead, I know you may not be fond of how we work here at Primus, but I think this is an important example that beneath all our differences, we are all human. We work through collaboration, not division..."
This and other recent events have led to some questioning why Primus doesn't crack down on these groups harder. When questioned on the matter Hoss said the following "...punishing those who truly are working for for a better future because of the work of a few bad actors goes against our goal at Primus. Free groups are champions of the people, it is the fact that they are independent that makes them special and we wish to protect that."
Prime Director Kal Hoss was asked in a recent interview about his thoughts on the current state of the world. "...The world never becomes less hostile... There is always another threat that humanity will have to face. We at Primus and our "Uniques" will always be here to assist and aid in these ventures to preserve us throughout it all." When asked about the recent surge in the self proclaimed "free" Hoss responded, saying, "They have a vision. A childish one, but a vision all the same. It's people like that who show humanity's courage and indomitable spirit. Should any of them wish to become the part of something bigger, we would gladly accept into Primus Company to join our ranks. Some of our best were once like them, lost without anyone to guide or train them..." A touching statement to be sure.
Hoss recently celebrated Primus' 20th anniversary at Primus HQ where they revealed a statue honoring the legacy that Primus has left on the world. It seems that the whole company was in high spirits. "Uniques" were seen wandering around all major Primus Facility locations in a well deserved day off. This flies in the face of~~~
Don't listen to their words. Primus is not good, their celebrations and kind words only seek to lead you to become their tool. We see through it, their lies and false promises. We choose to not be subject to their control. We choose our freedom. They will not take that away from us. Join us, not because we ask, but for your own sake. Keep your ears open, more will come soon.
Frequency, signing off.
~~~we back? Are we back? Sorry about that listeners, it appears we had some technical difficulties in our broadcast for some viewers. But we seem to have you back now. Anyway, next up will be Stephen with sports. We all hope you have an amazing day."
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.
