Bubble Tea Bloodbath: Robbery gone wrong or Assassination Attempt? (4/30/2025)

• Lincoln Park residents shocked at the violent robbery gone wrong at the local milk tea shop, Bobasaurus. Witnesses report that at approximately 6:12 pm a group of four armed men and a women entered the café, and 5 minutes later the 4 men brandished firearms and took the store hostage. Witnesses report the armed men tying up one of the hostages, and escorting them outside at gunpoint. This hostage being none other than Frank Knyght, the controversial police officer who was off duty at the time. 
• "[...] they were dragging him out and outta nowhere some kid outside threw his drink at the dude's head" Says witness Brian Freeman "[...] must've hurt pretty good because that's when the shooting started"
• Witness reports state that after the shooting started, the hostages started to act against their captors. "I don't really even remember it, something must have came over me, one second the guy was turning around, the next I was trying to wrestle him to the ground." Similar cases of memory loss are reported by most of the witnesses.
• After the shooting on the street and storefront the resulting struggled seemed to continue upstairs to the apartments above.
• overall the incident resulted in 4 deaths, including the owner of the Boba shop, Franklin Vasquez and 2 in critical condition.
• Police investigating this matter are not releasing any more information at this moment but urge anyone with any information on either Franklin Vasquez or the perpetrators to come forward.
