well I guess atleast I am soft now.

new mutation armor, and soft fox fur. I am now the fluffy kitsune, this is hopefully temporary, oh who am I kidding. well best stock up on some fur care products and another brush. I bet there is someone out there laughing right now but eh I get more power if i have to take an downside every time to get decent powers so be it.

I look forward to the next game I can get something extra useful like regen or maybe an artifact crafting power. those are fun looking. Maybe I'll earn some awesome cool trophies. like this book. anyway I am going to train some more learn something new maybe it will help. Maybe it wont. but atleast I can say I tried to do so.

then I will be needing new clothes for the umpteenth time. Maybe if I am lucky I can start a new trend.

resting and relaxing

So that was an abomination of a mission well luckily we didn't end up dying so that is a plus. got my hands on this book of blood magic, it's a tad morbid but better in my hands than some poor sap. I look forward to the next mission, I am getting more and more powerful. I am very tired. I put away the book in my new grimoir case.

These powers are really doing a number on me I am starting to hurt and I am stubmling around with a queasy stomach. This is so annoying.  I need to work to remove these issues.

I'll just do some research for now, probably just have to improve my gifts or something. ueeeghhh why!? wish I could talk to yuka chan, but she's busy at the moment. Something about a new rival or something, shrug. I wonder what magic i will find in the future.

Going down hiking

So we came home after our little escort mission. And decided on a little short notice camping Trip in Mt Oe The silverback (my new nickname for hawk) my wings aren't just mere decoration and i can actually get so lift and glide. Keiko was being a bit over protective with me as we made our way up the mountain. She kept clinging to me. Honestly at that point I would be safer than her seeing as i could hover and glide now.  Upon reaching the top we found some hot springs and set up camp. we got changed into our swimsuits and made our way to soak in the hot spring cuddling together. while hawk went to a separate one and decided that cannonball diving was an acceptable form of hotspring ettiquette.  and he "lost" his bikini after we spent so much time on it. and it was so cute.

but moving on he caused a new geyser and got shot into the air on super heated water.  and he caused a tsunami as me and keiko retreated, I used my body and wings to protect her, the best i could. Hawk got a bonk on the head and a telling off. as we dried off near the fire. We went to bed together me and keiko shared a tent and inflated air bed and Hawk had his own though didn't use it. next morning we got our gear together and I picked up keiko and with a smirk dived off the mountain. Keiko screaming as I glided down with Hawk running behind us.

Shopping

We that is me keiko and hawk go to a local swimsuit store. we decided to choose a swimsuit for each of us and that includes hawk.

for me I chose a simple number.

Keiko is wearing

hawk

We are at the beach, tanning hawk is fishing.  Keiko asked me what I thought of contracts, and I just said they are a means to an end and I have no strong feelings one way or another. Keiko says she is enjoying them. and then she says but... she did enjoy being held in general.  I respond, I am open to providing more hugs,  causing Keiko to blush. Then hawk return a tiger shark, for us to cook it. I the master chef teach and tease Keiko, by nibbling her fox ears. who is now blushing and trying to keep her composure. a group of two, creepy men walk up and say "hey ladies?" looking at hawk, "Do you want to hang out and play with some real men."

Keiko gets flustered and as she turned her lips locked with mine closed my enjoying myself. Keiko eyes open wide, and tries to back away but I stop her and continues the kiss for a bit longer. I let her go and Keiko is red faced in embarresment and now is curling up into a ball and muttering to herself. the creeps look shocked while i give them a shit eating grin and lick my lips, and hawk beats the shit out of them. I pulled gently pull keiko up cup her chin and say it's okay I don't mind at all and I kiss keiko on the lips again her eyes close. and wrap my arms around her waste and use my wings to wrap and shield her from people seeing. keiko also wrapped her arms around my neck. after hawk finished the beat down he returned watching us embrace and keiko's and my two tails are wagging he picks us up into a hug keiko squeaks. for the rest of the holidays, we hang out and did as couples do.

Beach vacation

We decided to stay in Hawaii on vacation on the request of our harbinger since we completed their contract but we didn't have any bathing suits or such so we had to buy some. We all agreed to go to the nearby clothing store to get some bathing suits as we head there i began to wonder what I was gonna get and what the others were gonna get. I am gonna buy a super soft bikini with Hawaiian floral pattern that is a white base and blue floral. I walked with Shizuku Morinaga and she got a bikini as well. But now we need to find something for Huck...  We got Huck as Mini skirt and shirt... Well I didn't think this would happen. Well time to go to the beach. I speak to Shizuku about the jobs and such and confess I did like that she held me and she offered more hugs but I didn't respond. Then Huck caught a fish and we made that into sushi as I was helping Shizuku held my waist and nibbled on my ears as I barely contained myself and then some weirdos came over to mess with us as I turned around and accidently kissed Shizuku on accident and I went into a mental break down of my anxiety that was my first ever kiss and she held me in it... the creeps were shocked by this as I look up at Shizuku nervously worried to death of what may happen. Huck beats the crap out of the weirdos as Shizuku pulls me up and pulls my chin up as she hugs and says it's okay I didn't mind at all and she kisses me again in a deep kiss as my and I just hold her my arms around the back of her neck as we kiss and my tail wags excitedly as her wings embrace me I close my eyes surrendering into the kiss. I am extremely embarrassed as my face is bright red.

Illuminated Earth

Illuminated Earth is a twisted reflection of the modern world where the advent of smartphones and the internet confirmed the existence of the supernatural instead of disproving it. Here, witch hunts have merit. Billionaires and Senators employ paranormal advisors and bodyguards, and everyone knows. Charlatans become pop culture icons, and each revelation inspires a new cult. The world is changing. The secret societies that pull humanity's strings scramble to adapt.

Now's a good time to move up.

House Rules

Contractors from " Orcale's Key Contracter's" Are portable, and may play in Contracts in other Playgroups.
" Orcale's Key Contracter's" grants 6 Experience points to GMs who achieve the Golden Ratio.
  • Citizenship: Active Players are expected to GM Contracts from time to time. If you have played as a Contractor in your most recent six Contracts, you are barred from playing in The Illumination again until you GM.
  • Supernatural Powers: All non-mastery, non-concealed Powers must be obviously supernatural when activated or grant a mutation that marks the wielder as supernatural or bizarre if discovered.

Full Setting Description

They named that time The Illumination, and it was by the flash of a camera phone.

The year was 2004. Until that point the Earth was as we had always known her. We filled her cruel vastness with legends, superstitions, and rumors. Warlocks, monsters, and gods lurked on the edge of the collective consciousness, always a possibility but never more. We lacked evidence. That evidence came as humanity filled its pockets with technology equipped to capture and transmit.

An iPhone found on High School senior Nate Klienman’s mangled corpse held a video of his girlfriend’s bone-snapping transformation into a monstrous wolf creature. A Brazilian widow documented a series of conversations with the misty figure of her late husband. A Chinese fishing boat caught a mermaid in a net and put it on display in the Beijing aquarium.

Each week brought a new revelation that we were not alone. Superstitions reversed their slow death overnight. Salem held their first witch trial in a century. The jury rendered a verdict of “guilty on all charges” and sentenced Maxibelle Horux to death. A week after her lethal injection, half the jury died from a tainted batch of flu vaccine. A fearful, populist movement arose to rid humanity of the creatures lurking in its ranks. Suspects are forcibly subjected to bizarre tests of their humanity, and the results are often open to interpretation. A mob’s justice is swift.

Yet the paranormal is not merely relegated to a persecuted class. Where some see monsters, some see sentience, and others see opportunity. If a vampire can sustain themselves on cloned blood and work the graveyard shift, why not legalize and tax? Politicians and Aristocrats employ odd-looking individuals as "advisors" or "protection." Entertainment magazines publish revelations every week about which celebrities shed their human skins at home. Charlatans of all stripes, from palmistry mediums to televangelists, have flourished despite the risks. The treatment of the paranormal varies from place to place, person to person.

Long have cabals, cults, and secret societies thrived in the shadows. Their roots run deeply through humanity’s oldest systems of power. Machinations are challenged, and sleeping dangers awaken. The world is changing, forcing long-dormant powers into desperate action. And it is in the midst of this great period of change that The Powers That Be have once again turned their attention to the blue marble. For the first time in two hundred years, Harbingers approach worthy individuals with an offer they won't refuse.

The Games have returned, and a new generation of Contractors are being forged.
