That's it, I'm restless. I need to go somewhere else for a bit. I'm hopin' on the first train I see and headin' to Mississippi. I don't care about the repercussions I may face, I can't sit around anymore. I'll head out tonight. If I can leave I'll be back soon enough to work again, despite my reservations about workin' for the same person so frequently and workin' within the same area for too long, he did give me the gift of livin' again and I can't snub that gift. Now if I am unable to leave I fear Crystal might be right. I may either be livin' in my own personal hell that's givin' me a false hope wantin' to rip everything away from me as soon as I get comfortable, or I've made a terrible mistake and made myself a puppet to somethin' unnatural's whims. I fear both hold some truth.

I plan on askin’ the reporter for help with somethin’, I need a letter written. I mean it’s his job to write, right. As much as I don’t really want to share much of my life with others this is really important to me. I need to get a letter to Jasper telling him I’m still livin’. Then I need to find a way to deliver it, which shouldn’t be that hard.

I think I’ll keep it short and simple, maybe somethin’ like,

”Dear J, I know it’s been a while and I’m sure the rumours will get to you soon. I’m not dead but I need to lay low awhile. C should have Peaches and I need you to go get her for me. I promise I’ll be home soon, I’d do anything to be with you again. Love, Jack McArthur.”

I’ll sign it so he knows it’s actually me…hopefully. I’ll ask later tonight, I don’t know what I’ll do if he says no.
