Full Setting Description

Since the days of old, tales of adventure have often described creatures of magic and mystique from elves to dragons. Alongside them were wizened individuals who lived amongst them, learning their ways and gaining mystical powers. As of late, it has come to the attention of certain individuals that these beings do in fact exist.

In Rosewell, New Mexico, 1947, it was made public that aliens do in fact exist. We are not alone. It was from then on that man has dedicated specific groups to observing these otherworldly beings as well as containing them in the event of crisis.

Through years of study and observation, humans themselves have adapted to the ways of magic and gained the knowledge of those beyond the stars. As Prometheus stole the fire from the gods, we too have taken the power from those beyond our understanding and made it our own.

These individuals are known by many names, Wizards, Psychics, Heroes, Villains, Soldiers. Call them whatever you want, but they know what they really are. Contractors, whether its for the greater good or their own selfish gain, each one seeks to obtain even greater power than what they currently have. Each time, their lives are put on the line. That is the nature of their contracts. That is their nature.
