I live in Salem, Oregon. Well, that's where my house is, but I don't spend too much time there. I tend to camp around the place or sleep in my car. I just prefer moving around the place, rather than stagnating in my house. Plus, it makes it easier to come up with an excuse to head out in case I get a contract. I also generally prefer to say out of cities, I prefer being out in nature rather than in human-made cities. The tent I stay in is pretty basic, just a small camo green tent that I have to bend my legs a little to fit inside. I've also got a grey sleeping bag to sleep inside.
I work as a park ranger in Silver Falls State Park. It's nice, and it lets me be out in nature. I'm not the biggest fan of all the humans I have to interact with, but oh well. I spend my money on food, gas, and gear replacements in case anything breaks. I've never been one to buy more than just that, and due to my new body I don't need much gear for contracts. I do, however, spend quite a bit on gas because of how much I travel. I've been considering getting a hybrid car to try and lower my environmental impact, but with the gifts I've been getting recently, I wonder if I'll even need a car to travel soon.
What I want is for humans to stop acting like they're at the top of the food chain, killing creatures as they please, putting certain animals through extinction, and not caring. In terms of what I'd do to get that I mean, I've already killed some people in my contracts. It's not a big deal to me. It is quite strange that I don't feel much of anything when killing, even though I was born a human, but at the end of the day, it doesn't much matter. I've also gotten pretty close to death on a couple of jobs, but I ain't worried. I just don't get the feeling that I'll die anytime soon, and even if I do, I'd still say it's worth it for the cause. I guess the last question would be what I'm actually aiming to do to get what I want. I'm aiming to get stronger. I'll get stronger and prove to those who don't understand that they aren't at the top of the world.
My dog died. I understand how utterly unimportant that sounds, but it is true that it was a major moment in my life. Specifically, he was killed by a police officer. Nobody talked about it, and that frustrated me to no end. I searched the internet, I asked around and did all I could to find some kind of justice for my dead dog. That's what initially led me to conservation efforts. Conservation efforts led me to work with wildlife, which led me to become a park ranger, and finally, that led me to the strange place I'm in today.
