Viktor Caetano ("Lex")'s Questionnaire

Caetano lives in Porto Alegre, Southern Brazil. Although a rough area in general being in South America Caetano moved back to his home City just a couple of years ago deciding it was best to go back to his roots. His home is a nice villa in the Jungle just south of Porto Alegre. It's his family's home although his family left quite a while ago, so he is the only one there. The Villa itself is of decent size compared to the others around him, although there is always room to expand, The house is rather secure with security cameras covering most of the doors and the outside of the house, a dirt road leads to the house from the main road roughly 200 to 300 feet North of the house. All together it is rather secluded.

Most of his money comes from his days doing Mercenary Work in Ukraine, although nothing really comes in beside some benefits for being getting Injured in the war due to some flying shrapnel hitting his face, Although most of that goes to his daily life such as Food, clothes and daily repairs. He also managed to keep a small amount of wealth from his time over in Ukraine. Caetano mostly spent money on maintaining his equipment and getting items for his 'Go-bag' for whenever he needed to get back to work which seemed to be coming over the horizon with his new goal.

Caetano's Ambition is rather simple, although getting there is the hard part, He wants to create a PMC Group that utilizes Supernatural equipment to complete Jobs that other Groups won't take like Contracted Killings, Infiltrations, and even Terrorism. Caetano would go to the ends of the earth to make this goal a reality, trying his upmost best to get whatever Job he is currently on completed with the benefactor happy. He is even willing to murder innocents if the so called mission called for it, even friends and allies. He would sacrifice any part of his body if it meant his PMC Group benefited and he hopes his future teammates would do the same given the choice between giving their life or running out. 

Caetano most defining moment happened while he was in the Ukrainian Foreign Legion, During his last few months of being there. Caetano's Squad was preforming a normal patrol in an SUV, Although the normalcy ended quickly when the SUV hit an IED on the road. Causing his left side of his face to become completely scared. During this he was Evacuated back to a medical camp and eventually sent back home to Brazil. This experience made him hate how the current warfare is, and that something needed to change which made him realize why the Supernatural items throughout the world aren't used for warfare to save life's or end them faster. 

'Yura Sofia' - Yura was one the first people he made in Ukraine due to Yura being able to speak English. They quickly became Comrades due to being in close proximity with each other due to the trench style warfare that took place in the war. She was also there on the fateful day when his Squad hit the IED. She was the one who pulled him from the debris of his vehicle and preforming first aid which likely saved his life. Although he was sent back to Brazil he kept in contact with Yura due the connection they made during their time in Ukraine. 

'Sérgio Duarte' - Sérgio is Caetano's closest friend knowing each other from early childhood (2nd Grade). Sérgio grew up down the street from Caetano so they hanged out most of the time and even getting into to trouble with the local police. As they grew they did grow apart due to different life choices, Caetano going into the Brazilian Military and Sérgio joining the Local Police force. Although that changed after Caetano accident, When he came back Sérgio welcomed him back with a small party and they caught up with a few beers. 

'Antônio Cezar' - Cezar is Caetano's half brother, Although not seeing much of each other during their upbringing the times they did meet were not good. Weather it be at family events or even in passing it's almost like they born hating each other. They never could get along during the times they were together even during their parents funeral. They caused a scene which they had to be escorted from.. Although they each other they still keep in-contact from time to time when the hatred dies down. 

Viktor's childhood was fairly okay compared to others out there in Brazil, although Viktor never really fit in as he never really cared for others nor did he mind to hurting others. Viktor would always attempt to ditch school because he didn't enjoy how they were taught and decided to go to the local library to learn on his own, although his parents had different view. His parents tried to show him love and support, but found it difficult due to how Viktor acted. His parents started to neglect him and let him do what he wanted, although this fueled Viktor hatred. They quickly gave up on Viktor and decided he was a mistake and decided to send him to military school to attempt to forget about him and try to correct his attitude, although this just pushed him further away. He did however excel in military school as the structure it gave him made the tools to learn how to move forward and get things done, this led him to learn a small amount of empathy for others to which he successfully graduated military school.

Viktor never really looked for someone to love, as he always focused on himself and what he wanted to do. He decided focusing on others would eventfully lead to him getting hurt and be forgotten about, so he decided to never let himself fall in love. He only had feelings for one person although they were pushed down and it was Sofia who pulled him from the wreckage of ambush site. Although when he was sent back to Brazil he decided not to follow his feelings and decided to focus on his work making a PMC, although he stills thinks about the Ambush.

Viktor worst fears are being forgotten, or lost to time. He wishes to leave his mark on the world in what he is best at, Tech and Mercenary work. this all comes back to his childhood when he was left by his parents and forgotten about, which caused trauma which eventually developed into Nightmare due to almost dying being some random mercenary which caused him to start perusing his ambition to start a PMC that uses Supernatural equipment and be known for it.. He is also afraid of death in general, he wishes to not die, and at least extend his life as far as he can. Although he almost died recently when hunting a cryptid, however he managed to steel his mind over the moment and managed to move past it and continue forward.

Other fears of Viktor's are his fear of being locked away or captured, as he likes feeling in control of his own body and hates feeling trapped and always like a way out of something no matter what it is, Luckily for him he hasn't come across anyone who has managed to capture him. 

One of Viktor's last fear is being torture or being in pain for long amount of time, although he could push through physically, mentally he is rather susceptible to it, although it has also never happened yet which is good for him as it would be a bad time.  

His current most prized possessions is his Small Villa and his Exo-Skeleton. Not much else really matters to him if he lost it as most of them can be replaced or fixed. 

First is his Villa which has been in his Family for generation going back to his Great-Great-Grandpa, which built the villa with his wife. It has been passed down from Family member to Family member. Until Viktor was contacted by a Lawyer about the property which is when he found out that his parents either went 'missing' or died. So it was given to which he was surprised about since he was left by them, although he likes to think this is gift to him for leaving him when he was so young. 

Secondly is his Exo-Skeleton, Which was made recently after starting doing Contract, Viktor when he started the design process knew this one a one-of-kind Prototype. Mostly due to the Power source which is semi-Stable and still very much in the Prototype page. Although this excite Viktor as he can continue to improve this design and know no one will ever be able to match it in or remake it. 

Viktor doesn't have a lot of problems beside two things, one being 'The Farm' and the other is being wanted by the US Police, with him being trapped in the US. Although one is a lot bigger than the other it is rather alright considering he has a safe haven. 

His first problem with the 'The Farm' is the amount of money he is currently putting into it, and the amount he is getting out of it which is zero. Him realizing that one of the other members haven't done a lot with putting things into 'The Farm' and leaving the other two to pick up the slack. 

His second problem and his biggest problem is being wanted by the US Police, which has caused him not to be able to get back to his home in Brazil and burning both his Real name, and his Fake one. Although he is currently living in a hole in the ground and his only source of entertainment being a TV, and him making tech for himself. He doesn't really have a plan to get home currently. 

Viktor often wakes up pretty early in the morning around 5 or 6 am, often on his on will as he is use to waking up early due to his past history. As he wakes up he turns on the News channel while he prepares himself breakfast, often listening to the news because he wants to make sure nothing would harm him or anything he does in the future. After eating breakfast he would start fiddling around with his Tech Projects.. Often just messing with items he's already made, making sure everything is in tip-top shape and ready for when he needs it. After that he gets started with his day with managing his property making sure its ready or ordering supplies for his house and items he made need for his project/repair items. After which he gets started with his day with whatever it made be filled with. 

Viktor would take his time getting ready to make sure he looks his best for any potential clients, he would get started by getting a good suit ready, something to really show how well kept he is. He would then get some of his gadgets that can look normal such as his Aegis Watch as protection. He would get a nice pair of sunglasses that hides his eyes, he would finally get a nice hidden soft armor to put under his suit, just incase his Watch failed to protect him. All in together it would most likely take around and hour for him to get dressed, but might take longer depending on where he goes. 

If he goes to a place that isn't public he would research the place and people involved in whatever he is going to, Either to get an idea of who he is meeting or to get an escape plan ready in case things go south and something unexcepted. 

Viktor doesn't really celebrate his birthday anymore, besides the occasional drink with a friend. He has never really celebrated his birthday due to no one really throwing one for him. So he decided he will celebrate when he has accomplished his goal of starting a PMC so he has something else to celebrate besides himself. Viktor feels as if his birth does not matter in the grand scheme of things, although he feels like his soon to be PMC will be something to live beyond him, and will allow his name to live on forever, or at least for a little bit after his death. 

Viktor biggest regret is him being too 'nice' to other contractors.. And giving away all his Artifacts he has made. He has made a silent agreement to himself that he won't ever give away another Artifact he makes to anyone if he does not get something from. He has on many times given things out and has not gotten anything back.. besides two cases. This regret started during one contract when he gave one of his 'Grav Gloves' to a contractor, and he refused to give them back and died with it.. And he even left Viktor to die. 

From the end of that he would come to terms with being more 'stingy' with what he makes and will think that others must do something for what he offers. Unless they offer him to be 'allies' that will come to help him when needed, and if they don't well.. Viktor will make sure something happens.

The nature of Viktor's gifts are him gathering mana from his body and the surrounding area and utilizing them in his equipment and powers. Allowing him to imbue technology with his mana which either improves the Item or gives him the ability to do things (Disguise himself or Making his Robot friend). There is inherent potential with items he create and make, with them performing their duties. Harbingers give Viktor 'Inspiration' to make these Item and the designs of them, although it is starting to move away from the harbingers as Viktor starts to become self suffient with his ideas and designs. Every single one of his crafted items or imbued have parts of his mana in them either as a power source or to leave his mark on his items as a way for his name to go on for others to see and to carry on his legacy. 

Viktor's do not believe in a 'God' or anything of the sorts. He thinks that if their is a 'God' they are evil, sadistic and all around does not deserve his 'devotion'. He feels those who do follow a religion are either looking for something or too weak to deal with their own problems. Viktor believes that man governors themselves and should only be beholden to themselves, otherwise man should not exist as a species as that is their defining feature as a race. He also thinks that religion was made to by the strong people of the human race to control others humans as a way to keep them in cages and fear what they might do if they broke their 'moral' code. He also thinks that religion is a curse on the human race and that it should not be needed to live or to survive in the world.

The Contracts do not conflict with his worldviews in fact they enhance them and reinforce them as his ideals align with the Contract. He see the Contract but as another job for him to do in his long line of mercenary work, along his path to becoming a Leader of a PMC/Mercenary Group. Although some aspects of the contracts do confuse him as though he does not believe in god, these 'Harbingers' seems to be what is equivalent to a god. So he is confused on what he should do with the powers given to him by them, whether to not use them or to continue to use them in the pursuit of his own goals... Currently he has come to the understanding of using them currently to continue his goal of becoming a leader of a Mercenary Group. And with this he will not stop until he gets what he wants.  

Most of the other Contractors he see are 'Guy Webber' and 'Bryan' who all co-own 'The Farm' which makes him likes them generally well due to this partnership.  So he thinks pretty highly of those two, who also offer their help whenever Viktor might need it as Viktor has offered the same. They have also given each other some good Artifacts which helps each other whenever we might need it. 

On the other side of the Coin there are some contractors which Viktor absolutely hates, and would not care if they 'disappeared' off the face of the earth one contract comes to his mind. The 'DA' or Bankson Battle who falsely accused him of murder and gave up his name and alias he used. After that he decided to take his Artifacts and Guns after a contractor and put his life endanger. After that he wishes only but the worst for him..  

The perfect room would be a workshop perfectly tooled to Viktor, with all the material he could ever want and use. The room would include parts to maintain his current list of 'Items' as well as futures one he could think of as well as parts to make new inventions to be used by himself and others. 

Other Parts of the room would include a gunsmith work table with a wall of guns that are well maintained with extra parts to keep them maintained. Along with this area of the room would be a small gun range with targets, so the guns could be tested and refitting if needed.  The Gun area would also include a ammo crafting station so he can make his specialized rounds for his guns.   

Viktor excels at making and utilizing anything dealing with Technology, As well as him aiming and shooting any type of Guns. His philosophy is that he can always get better at something whether it be shooting a gun or even fucking doing puzzles.. Viktor will always strive to be better at whatever he decides he want to be good at. And that anything less than perfect is wrong, and it needs to be fixed, although he doesn't shame others for being less than perfect he does wish for others to strive to be better than whatever they excel at. He hopes he can push others to be better, although he might not do it 'correctly' or 'nicely' but does wish for others to be at their best so they can reach their true potential and be worthy allies to him and the team he might find himself on in the future. 

Viktor limits mostly include things happening to himself, as Viktor does not shine away from anything he might have to do. Whether it be killing people or burning down a village.. Viktor will always get the Job done to the best of his ability, or else he is not getting closer to his goal. Viktor would sacrifice himself if it helped him get closer to his goal of starting a Mercenary group using supernatural equipment, Even if it meant suffering for it. This shows that Viktor is very goal orientated and also does not like to be betrayed by others, he feels as though his team should not lie or hide things from him as it could harm the mission. Although he does feel the need to hide some things from his team run better and more efficiency to the mission ahead, Which have seemed to work so far in the current situations.
