"Seattle, Washington. I was born there, and can access everything I need there, so I've never really been given a reason to move. I would likely choose to live wherever I was born, or the closest populous city to it, unless circumstances made it untenable. Seattle at least has reasonable weather, I think. Good if you choose not to drive. It's politically... stable, for better or worse. Usually worse. Preferable in a twisted 'lesser of two evils' sort of way, which I think is a false binary, but if it's the framework that we all have to live in, then... Well. You know how it is. Plus, the city is big. You can travel in any direction and find something new, it seems. Not often good, but new. There's a sense of discovery there."
"I tend to subsist on community donations. Troubleshooting. Repairs. Strictly on a pay-what-you-want basis. I tend to buy very little; food, utilities, rent, mostly. I pay for the essentials for human survival, because that's how our economy works, apparently. And if I need more money, I have... alternate sources. Patrick Bateman types with a bigger investment portfolio than they know what to do with and a password that's just 'password'. 'Refunds' from Amazon on packages that I may not have actually ordered. If you have so much money you literally wouldn't even notice some of it was gone, I'd say that's fair game. Dragon hoard rules. Wouldn't you agree?"
