Ivy lives off the grid in their commune in Western Massachusetts. Their cult has constructed a small village and grows all their own crops, only interacting with the outdoor world as necesarry. They live a simple life with their adoring adherents (outsiders would call them cultists), living mostly off the land and plotting the downfall of several governments around the globe. Freedom is king among the cult and adherents all share a history of having been abused by those in power in one way or another. The area is beautiful year round with wild flowers in the spring, lush grass in summer, umber orange trees in the fall, and picturesque snowy winters.
Ivy and their following make what little money they need by selling surplus food and crafts at local farmers markets. Things like canned eggs, pickled beets and hand woven baskets with the odd carved antler or walking stick thrown in for good measure. Their main expenditure is on building supplies and "self protection equipment" (illegally obtained guns and body armor). Other expenses include spreading word of the group, helping pay for people to flee to the commune, and the odd trip taken by Ivy or other members to forward their political goals. For the most part Ivy and co avoid participating in the exchange of money.
