Ollie Silas's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Link Answered before Ollie Silas's first Contract.

Originally from Bendigo, he moved to Sydney to live with his aunt after his mother disappeared and he has lived there ever since. He now rents the basement of an elderly couples home on the city's outskirts. The pipes along the roof leek causing the walls to form mold and his bed is a mattress on stolen milk crates, but at least he has his guitar and CD collection. His walls are covered in various band posters and stolen road signs from all over the city. The room smells horrible due to the stray animals he lets in and feeds as company. He hates the city, all the smog and all the people packed into a tight space. but until he finds somewhere better it's home.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Link Answered before Ollie Silas's first Contract.

If you ask him he'll tell you he gets his cash from playing gigs with his band, but due to the lack of demand he actually makes most his cash working night shifts at the 7-eleven at his street corner. When he gets paid what's left over after paying rent, utilities and food. Gets spent on buying blank cassette tapes to burn music onto because he refuses to pay for spotify or Apple music. Animal food for the strays he keeps as company. Or straight into his "fuck society" jar that he puts money into to hopefully save up for his move out of the city.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

He believes that humanity is destroying the planet and there's not much hope for the creatures we share it with. So his solution is instead of fighting society head on he's going to create is own, a last bastion for him to protect from corporations and governments. But first he needs the power to connect him self closer with what he's protecting and use that power to show what nature is capable of. He's herd of the contractors, his seen them get around with the high and mighty powers and artefacts. Useing it to please the highest bidder rather do anything of substance. He also knows these are the same people who can insure he can have a chance at his own power, but as long as he continues to disagree with how they do things he doubts they'll invite him in.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before Ollie Silas's first Contract.

When he was around fourteen years old back, when he was with his mother in Bendigo his mother ran into the house one night. Face painted with worry and told Ollie to begin packing he did as she said packing what possessions he could carry but they where too late. Men claiming to be police officers kicked down the door. His mother told him to hide inside a part of the couch she had already hollowed out. He watched from his hiding place as his mother was violently beaten and interrogated, until they dragged her out of the house, never to be seen again. After everyone told him he made the story up to cope with the fact his mother didn't love him enough ti stick around. But he knew what he saw and he refused to ever let it happen to him.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Dana: the drummer in his band cannibal paradise. They don't really talk or hang out much outside of their gigs but, they know if shit it's the fan they have each other's back. Like Ollie she mostly keeps to herself, hateing most people as much as he does but she will talk about cats or music if you ask her.

Vince: he works with Ollie at the 7-eleven, when they get bored at work sometimes the cause a bit of mischief but other than that they don't know each other that well. He tends to be fairly outgoing spending most weekends partying at the local clubs.

The deer: every morning he walks home from work he stops by a bus stop to feed, and talk to a deer he has sort of befriended. It mostly just stands there and eats while Ollie rants and vents about his day. Ollie just finds it comforting to have something listen to him... even if it probably isn't.
