I currently live in Rome (even though I don't even speak any Italian) in a small flat. I found a job here announcing some fights in some smaller club, but to be honest: I just like Rome's atmosphere, it all feels very laid back, despite the amount of tourists (and tourist traps). You know, the old city, the remnants of ancient rome, all the good stuff (the statues lining some of the streets - I'm a sucker for sculpting even if I'm not good at it). All in all: Rome'S just more my vibe than most US cities and even if I liked Macao for what it's worth, it was just too busy for me, the whole part of the world just felt too hectic
You know, there's bouts now and again that bring in some money (and if there's a lull in the fighting business I have to do jobs as a promoter, but that's besides the point) and I usually spend it on the necessities: My one room in the cheaper part of the city, instant ramen and beer. Got plenty to save and maybe I should start investing into some gear? But to be totally honest, I've been pretty lucky (for the most part, we don't talk about what happened at the cruise) and I should probably just stick to the group. So perhaps I'll just use my leftover money to enjoy some gambling. And meet acquaintances and such.
