Catherine Marble's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

I live in Los Angeles, California. Where else would I live to work in TV? I've got a lovely top floor apartment in Santa Monica with a good view of the beach. My apartment is a large two bedroom, but of course I've turned the second bedroom into a study. The study is full of references to various occult practices and provides me a space to practice and bring in prestigious clients for private readings. The rest of the apartment is decorated with modern furniture and appliances with occult and mythical art around the living room and hallway. My bedroom has a window looking out to the mountains up north.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

I am the star of my own show "Reading the Future with Catherine Marble". I pick members of the audience to perform reading for. I'm known for being able to use any form of divination requested. Most people in town seem very impressed by that, but it's really quite simple. All it takes is a bit of study and practice. I spend my money buying all the things I deserve: fantastic food, beautiful art, and even rare occult texts. I'll also take the girls out for brunch most weekends to gossip and be seen around town; it always helps boost the show to be recognized around town.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

I will setup a monopoly of psychics to control and shape the future. By collecting everyone with the gift together, I will be able to direct them to sense possible futures. From there I can work to direct the world down the path I desire by nudging individuals along the correct paths. Why would I need to kill anyone for this? I wouldn't kill anyone, though I suppose if I must in self-defense or defense of the project then I would. I can see the future; no matter how close to death I come I will always pick the path that leaves me escaping with my life. I am fate; I can't die. I simply need to expand my reach to fully control the course of history.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

At 16 I received a deck of tarot cards for my birthday. I spent the weekend reading about them and learning how to do readings. That was my introduction to the occult and the art of fortune telling. From there everything started falling into place; I could watch people and learn what they wanted and how they were thinking, then I could do a reading and tell them what they wanted or needed to hear. Over the years, I expanded the types of reading I could perform to everything I could find. That first deck of cards, though, changed the entire course of my life onto this wonderful path of fame and power.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Jenna is my bff. She's an influencer and the other leader of our girls group. We've figured out how to "accidentally" promote each other on our platforms, and it's been huge for us both. She's very talented, but, unlike me, doesn't pay any attention to what other people are doing.

Craig is my agent. Now that my show's taken off, he doesn't do too much for me. Occasionally he'll book a crossover or cameo for me, but I'm not sure he's worth what I'm paying him anymore. He's fairly well known around Hollywood though, so for now I know better than to piss him off.

Finally there is my assistant Sebastian. He handles all the little things around me that need to get done, but that I'd rather not waste my time doing. He also manages my private readings, scheduling appointments for celebrities when I'm not busy filming an episode.

6. How was your childhood? Who were your parents? What were they like? Did you attend school? If so, did you fit in? If not, why not?

My childhood was lovely. I grew up in San Diego with my parents, Kyle and Amanda. My dad worked for a financial consulting firm. He wasn't around much during the week, but our weekends were full of fun. We would go boating, or visit the zoo, or have a cookout on the beach. Sometimes we would fly down to the Caribbean for some scuba diving. My mom taught me all about people. I'd finish my school work early most days, then she would take me out to the mall or the beach. We would watch people and make up stories about what they were doing and what was going on in their lives.

Of course I fit in at school, I was one of the popular kids, obviously. I was also smart enough to get a scholarship to UCLA, where I studied occult theory until I met Craig and broke into the TV scene.

7. Have you ever been in love? With who? What happened? If not, why not?

I thought I was in love once in highschool. Then I realized how foolish I was as a kid. The bastard cheated on me with some slut from a different school. I never learned who she was, but once my friends convinced me something was up the signs were clear as day. I still can't believe I went so long without noticing. Since then I've been in loads of relationships, but none have ever been too serious. No one is interesting enough; after a few dates I figure out everything about them and after a few more usually lose all interest in them. It's probably for the best; my show always gets a boost whenever the tabloids post about my breakups.
