Chet Steel's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Chet lives on "The Farm" a training facility in VA to train up new FBI agents. He is still in training and likely will be for a few more weeks or months. He is pretty much stuck here and if he leaves long term will likely be dropped from the program. He has a small dorm like room, with a bed, a desk and some simple dressers for clothing and possessions. The walls are stark, the bed is uncomfortable and his classmates seem too uncommitted for Chet's liking. Still this is the best place he has ever lived and wouldn't trade it for anything. The dorm is surrounded by fake buildings used for training and a large forest.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Chet currently gets a perdiem but not an outright salary. He has savings from his past work to keep him supplied. His needs are simple, ammo for practice. New clothes when he gets holes in his current ones. Better gear when extra cash allows for it. Chet has a small collection of guns that he would like to expand on. He is also eyeing some nicer clothing for when he gets through the FBI training. An agent should be well dressed but not ostentatious. Chet currently mostly wears cargo pants and an athletic shirt like most of the others in his class.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Chet is seeking to become a great American hero, and possibly even more important then that receive the adoration and attention that he is due by being such a hero. Growing up hearing war stories about defeating Nazi's and the hardships the country has previously faced Chet views his role as becoming a new shining beacon to beat back whatever scourge the US is currently facing. Chet isn't exactly sure what that great evil might be right now, but he's very sure that it exists and that it is directly opposed to Chet and what he strives for. In the meantime Chet is looking to start working at the FBI as that might help him be a better shield for the country.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Chets most defining moment would be getting accepted into the FBI training program. This was his big shot at proving just how remarkable he is as an individual and how much he clearly stands above everyone else. Finally he would be able to acquire the skills he needs to really be better then everyone else....I mean help the country. All that said the program has not been easy and even with Chet's extensive training it has been rigorous and difficult on him. The physical efforts weren't hard Chet was in fairly good shape, but the mental skills and detective work were new to Chet.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

The people closest to Chet are probably his current mentor in the training program, his former commanding officer and his Grandfather.

FBI Mentor : Darrius Chisom. A bitter elderly man that is in charge of teaching the trainies how to think properly and solve the unsolvable cases. Darrius seemingly has no friends, never leaves his lecture hall, and clearly hates all of his students. Chet doesn't exactly love the man, but can't deny his effectiveness and how much he has learned from him.

CO : Mike Callus. A man who always put his teams saftey first and taught Chet to do the same. This is a lesson that Chet is still trying to internalize. Chet struggles with others and prefers to work alone.

Grandfather : James. A WW2 veteran who died when Chet was young. This is the reason chet sought out military service and is so committed to the USA. His grandfather was kind and stoic and never denegrated others.
