Amelia lives in a modern-style luxury penthouse in Dallas, Texas. She chose to live in Texas because she's a big fan of the culture, and she's found people are much more comfortable with her presence there than in some places. She appreciates not having her rights infringed upon, and being surrounded by those who feel the same. Her apartment is a blend of modern and southern housewife décor, furnished with high-end appliances but a wooden "We Don't Call the Police" sign outside her door. She doesn't spend most of her time there so it doesn't seem very lived in, almost like a display house. Despite not spending much time there, she still pays someone to clean.
Amelia makes a majority of her money from her online web show "Truth Hurts with Liberty Belle". From there she has paid sponsorships, merchandise and donations that allow all of her adoring fans to contribute to her cause for as low as $5 a month. She spends most of her money on expensive liquor, fine dining and simple luxuries to live every day to the fullest. When it comes to bigger purchases, she spends quite a bit of money producing and advertising her show. Mainstream sites tend to ban her quickly so she needs to work harder to find her audience, which means more money.
Amelia has a very strong set of beliefs and spreading those beliefs to others is what drives her each and every action. Up to this point, she's managed to make a name for herself just by sharing what she believes in with others, and she won't stop until everyone in the world sees what she does. She would do anything and everything in her power to show the world the secret truths that are being hidden right in plain sight, so long as she could live to see it through. She believes she WILL have to kill for it, the people hiding these things are some of the most evil people there's ever been and won't stop at anything to silence her.
The most defining moment of Amelia's life is when she first discovered the basis for her viewpoints as a teen browsing the internet. She stumbled across a website that sent her down a rabbit hole of what most would consider extremist theories but all she saw was things she always thought but never had the words for. After this, she started working hard on her own research, trying to prove to others what was going on right in front of their eyes. It wasn't long before she started working on her own show, fueled by the confirmation that other people could see it too and confidence that she'd be able to show everyone that couldn't.
Despite the many people in Amelia's life, she finds her inner circle quite small. Her cameraman/manager/PR rep/best friend, Jake, has been with her since the beginning of her career. He is rarely ever seen publicly with her, finding more comfort in staying behind the scenes. They met in high school, quickly forming a strong bond over their shared beliefs. The two of them are the core of the show and will do anything for the other, though maybe him more so than her.
She has also, over the years, gotten close to the owner of the gun range she frequents when blowing off steam. He's an older man by the name of Michael (often referred to as Big Mike) who is seen by most who visit his range as a father figure of sorts. He is nearly always there as he doesn't have much in the way of real family, finding that connection in those like Amelia.
With so few women in her life, Amelia is very close with her mother, Mary-Alice. She takes the time to call her every chance she gets, and spends a good portion of her money ensuring that her mother has everything she needs to be happy and healthy.
Amelia's childhood was actually incredibly pleasant. She grew up in an upper-middle-class family in a quiet and safe suburb. Her family, consisting of her parents and 3 older brothers, was as standard and All-American as you can get. Her mother doted heavily on her as she was not only the youngest but the sole daughter of the family. Her father spent most of his time working, and when he was home seemed more drawn to spending time with her brothers. Her father was not the open;y affectionate type like her mother, but was still loving and caring in more subtle ways.
Amelia went to graduated from a nice, but still public school. She was quite popular there, her charm and athletics landing her a solid spot as cheer captain. Very few opposed her and those who did usually found themselves regretting it. Her bubbly demeanor could sharply snap into ice, and if Amelia didn't like you no one did.
Amelia has never been in romantic love with someone, not really. She's never met anyone deserving of her in that way. The closest thing to it is the bond she's formed with her best friend, Jake. He has been with her through everything, and been a key part to all she takes pride in. The two of them are soul mates in a different way, almost like they are two halves of one being. They are the type to finish each other's sentences if not outright saying what the other person is thinking. She doesn't think she will ever meet someone she loves as much as him because she sees him as an extension of herself.
