"Squirtle squirtle, squirtle squirt. Squirtle!"
Soppy resides alone in a large pond in a public biome of Neo-GENIS, a place where not many Players or NPCs go, as it merely looks like any other pond set piece in an environment. He never leaves this spot because it provides all of his basic needs, good fish and plants to eat, and cool fresh water, he even has the perfect boulder to sun bath on. He doesn't desire too much out of his home, so why leave. In truth, this pond is mostly all he's ever known since he was brought into being, however that doesn't mean he is scared of what resides outside of it.
“Squirtle?”
Soppy has an extremely loose concept of what money is, he knows that sometimes you give good things to people so you can get good things from them. Other than that, he's blind to what money is and the frankly absurd obsession some people have with it. He has no use for money cause everything he ever needs to he provides for himself, he can hunt fish and forage for plants to eat in his pond. Though gear and equipment are helpful for many in this world, Soppy, to be frank, is too dumb to understand that. Soppy has no income, or ways to get it, sometimes he will find coins that people leave around his pond that he hoards because they look pretty but that's about it.
"Squirtle squirtle, squirtle, squirtle, squuuuuirtle."
Like many Pokémon, Soppy has a competitive spirit, and a drive to better themselves in someway. The most straight forward way to do this is to gain EXP, and to do that he must leave the safety of his pond and gain experience, by pushing himself and doing this he hasn't done before. Eventually, like others of his kind, he will evolve. Soppy will go from a Squirtle, Wartortle, then finally a Blastoise.
Soppy is a kind soul, and doesn't wish to harm anyone in such a way as to kill them. But sometimes evildoers must be dealt with. Other than that, Soppy doesn't have much of a goal, besides live a good life, make friends, and help those he can.
“Squirtle squirtle! Squirtle squirtle!”
Soppy hasn't been around long, and so his life experiences are quite limited. However, one day he was enjoying the sun on his basking boulder, and he heard a cry for help. Not too far from his pond, he saw an odd woman being chased by a strange six-legged creature. The creature looked like a constantly shifted static mass of dull colors, Soppy couldn't comprehend, but he knew he had to help. He leapt into action and fought the creature, using his water gun, biting, smashing it with his tail. The creature fled, but only after biting Soppy's shell, cracking it open. The lady used some sort of gel to rapidly heal his shell and thanked him for the help. After she left Soppy felt a strong sense of pride in himself, it felt good to help someone in need even if he got hurt in the process.
“Squritle? Squirtle squirtle, eh, squirtle. hmm, squirtle squirtle!”
We'll be frank, Soppy doesn't encounter a lot of people, at least not long enough to form any lasting connections, despite being a very social creature. Though as of recent he does know more than he did before he started these quests.
“Squirtle, squirtle, squirtle?”
Soppy assumes he was born from an egg like other Pokémon, from loving Blastoise parents, or another Pokémon in his egg group. Though he has never meant his parents or even remember his eggshell. The sad truth is Soppy came from Pokémon Bank, he was abandoned there for years, a lone lvl 1 Squirtle, then the application shut down and left over code somehow made its way to Neo-GENIS. Ever since then he has been alone, thankfully his life at the pond is enough for him right now. He tends to not think about where he came from, mostly because he doesn't know, to Soppy this is reality.
As far as education, he learned how to survive as any other animals does, a mixture of instincts and experimentation. Though, this isn't too far off from how sea turtles start out in life.
As of now, Soppy is still considered a kid in terms of lifespan and levels.
“Squirtle squirtle?”
Soppy has a good idea what love is, but not fully. He has never been in love and probably won't be for a good while now, his focus is on other things he likes, such as food, playing and helping others. After all, he's just a little guy. Perhaps one day in the far future, when he's older, he will encounter another Pokémon that he will fall for, maybe they will be in the Monster or Water 1 egg group, perhaps a kind blastoise, clodsire or even aurorus, and he'll have little squirtles of his own. But right now, he's just living his best life as a young squirtle.
“Squirtle…Squirtle squirtle. Squirtle.”
Soppy has some basic fears any animal would have like being eaten or killed. But the intelligent part of his mind possesses a more complex a fear.
The fear of failure.
What if he tries to help someone and only makes things worse, like someone they care about gets hurt, or worse? What if he never achieves his goals, never evolves and becomes a Blastoise super hero, but stays the same forever? He also doesn't want to disappoint people, especially in the rare moments they depend on him. These fears have been amplified as of recent from Soppy’s realization that he is inferior compared to those he’s been on Quests with. He’s always been the weakest or dumbest of the group. Yet those concerns also fuel his desire to be better. Fortunately for Soppy his mind doesn’t dwell on these feats for very long. He can’t these doubts and fears cloud his mind and block him from belong the west water type Pokémon there ever was.
This final part is mostly filler, some of these questions I feel have a really long word count requirement, then again the amount I write is on a character by character basis.
“Squirtle squirtle, squirtle, squirtle!”
soppy doesn’t have much, he can count all of his possession on one hand, if he couldn’t count. Though he doesn’t have three items he cherishes most.
“Squirtle… Squirtle, squirtle. Squirtle!”
As of recent, Soppy has felt he needs to be stronger, smarter. All those innocent lives lost that may have been by accident and not by his hand, but he felt he could have done more to prevent that much tragedy. His weakness has also left him with a scare from when he lost his hand, though he may have both his hands in place, he might not be so lucky next time.
He has begun to address this by taking his training more seriously. He has been visiting the Crimson Flame Guild and using the facilities to train his body, recently gaining improved unarmed capabilities, instead of always relying on his water gun move. Hopefully, with more training, he will learn new moves to protect both himself and others.
Every other facility in his life is good. He doesn't need money, and his pond provides food and shelter.
“Squirtle, squirtle. Squirtle.”
Soppy's morning begins whenever he wakes up, whether that be 9am, or 1pm, he has no concept of time. Generally, when the sun raises and the pond gets warmer, that will wake him up. But his mornings as of late have gone like this.
“Squirtle?”
This is an interesting question cause it assumes someone thought it would be a great idea to invite an animal to an event. Soppy has very little concept of fashion and what it means to look nice and be proper. If Soppy was invited to an event, his preparations would be quick and simple. Soppy at least understands that being covered in dirt or blood is generally not a fancy thing to be. Thankfully for him, he bathes every day in the fresh water of his out of bounds, poorly rendered pond. Clothing isn't really a thing for Soppy, some might say he wears a shell, but it's in fact fused to his spine. Soppy doesn't have clothing in general, a flower crown and torn up reinforced clothing, but he never wears those either. If he were to get a suit, it would have to be custom tailored, that or bought at a Build-a-Bear workshop. Overall, a quick dip in the pond and he's ready to go.
“Squirtle, squirtle.”
Soppy doesn't know when he was born, he thinks he was born from an egg like a normal animal, but he wasn't. He's about 5 years old now, which is the equivalent to a young teen in squritle years. He has never celebrated a birthday but knows what they are.
If he were to celebrate a birthday he would want it to be at his pond, with all his closest friends, issue is he doesn't have many friends. It's hard for some people to form that kind of connection with an animal like him, Soppy is sadly aware of that. He doesn't need gifts, but he would like one of those large jello cakes they give to zoo animals on their birthdays.
"Wartortle, wartortle?"
Soppy hasn't been around long, not even a decade, so he hasn't had a lot of times to form many regrets. However, he has made several smaller ones.
Overall not many Soppy regrets, he knows he can't stew on things like that, or they get worse, instead he addresses it, and improves.
"Wartortle, war, watortle!"
Soppy, as it might be hard to notice, is a Pokémon, a magical creature with magical powers. Specifically Soppy is of the Squirtle line, currently he's at the middle stage, a wartortle, they are a Water type. Water type Pokémon have powers that let him manipulate and generate water, hence the use of Water Gun, and soon another water based move. Another thing with water types, most can swim really well, better than other creatures. Soppy's kind are strong and sturdy, able to take damage and deal it. Coupled with his training, and hard shell, Soppy is a dangerous physical fighter with some good ranged options, even deadlier in the water.
I have no clue what else to say for this, kind sums it up. How about I just quote their entries from the newest game.
Squirtle - "Its shell is soft immediately after it is born. In no time at all, the shell becomes so resilient that a prodding finger will bounce right off it."
Wartortle - "It often hides in water to stalk unwary prey. While swimming quickly, it moves its ears to maintain balance."
Blastoise - "It has jet nozzles on its shell. This impressive Pokémon uses these jets to charge toward foes with all the force of a rocket."
“Wartortle, wartorle, war.”
Soppy hasn't put too much thought into spirituality and religion. With him being, for a lack of a better term, "simple-minded animal", it's never been a concern for him what happens after he dies. Soppy doesn't feel any which way about it, he doesn't care what you believe because it's not a concern for him, he takes things as they come. His mind operates in a way that if approached by a god, he would greet it as any other person, with pleasure.
"Wartortle!"
Soppy is an open-minded individual, mostly that there isn't much in his mind. He's seen many horrible things and have been tested both mentally and physically, and his world view has only improved. Soppy reacts to change with a smile.
“Wartortle, wartortle, war. Wartortle!”
We got a treat for you this question. Actualt words from Soppy, well written words, but still.
"Wartortle...."
Basically this
"Wartortle, wartorle, wartortle!"
Being a water type Pokémon Soppy excels at anything water relating, from making it to moving in it.
Soppy doesn't have too many deep thoughts, especially about philosophy of all things. However, Soppy does have a mindset when it comes to progress. He believes that everyone needs to strive for something, everyone needs fuel, a reason, even if that isn't to have reason. Soppy has gone through many physical and mental challenges through his quests, and has learned to take things as they come. May not fully answer the question but the closest thing to it.
“Wartortle. wartortle...”
"Wartortle?"
Alright, this question is a tough because I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know what a song is. However, I will give some songs I think he would vibe with and why.
"Wartortle!"
Soppy's ambition is vague, he wants to become a hero. All of his experiences doing quest, training and helping others have helped him unlock more of his moves and abilities. It will take the destruction of his whole world view in order to change his ambition, every power he gains the more it is reinforced. Chances are he won't ever truly complete his Ambition, as there will always be someone in need of help, and Soppy will use all his power to aid them. The concept of death hasn't really crossed his mind, despite his many brushes with it. If he dies doing what he loves, then that's alright with him.
