Ronan Dyer's Questionnaire

I live in Ispwich, Massachusetts. I was born near here, I guess. and a lot of good poets come from Massachusetts, you know. so I always figured it would be a good place to stay. my home is small, but I don't need it to be that big. people are surprised by that. if I'm so famous, surely I can afford a bigger house. and the answer is I cant, because I've spent all my money from my last book on buying 50000 scented candles. this was a very necessary purchase.  but also I just get too lonely in a big house. what do you even do with all the space? i would have to buy even more candles to fill it up. or get very into keeping exotic reptiles. I'm not sure.

anyways, I live near the ocean, and I try to keep my house clean. I am a very neat person. I like to watch the seagulls from my window. there is something strangely beautiful about them. I wish I could fly like them. I wonder how they see the world.

I write a lot of poems about my house. I feel very connected to it. I like to sit by the ocean and write.
