I'm quite proud of my quaint little home. I currently live in a small english-style cabin in the town of Salem, Massachusetts. I've lived in Salem my whole life, as my did my parents and their parents before them. We've lived in Salem because of our faith, but even if I wasn't a member of our church, I think I'd stay. Something about the serene seaside views in autumn pull on my heartstrings like nothing else in this world. To me, nothing competes with the East Cost, and salem is the perfect town for my lifestyle. I can see why my ancestors decided to settle here all those years ago.
Currently, I get my salary through my church, the Healing Clergy of Salem. I get paid a pretty decent amount to work as a cleric there, and I spend my time healing the sick and needy. Our church has several high-profile clients, as our methods of healing tend to be supernatually effective, so the church tends to pull in a substantial amount of money. This trickles down to me, and I'm able to make a healthy living. I spent a good chunck of my savings on my 1967 Ford Mustang GT, a rare and desirable spec of the iconic car. Other than my car, most of the money I spend is on my house and daily expenses.
My ambition is to truly test the limits of the Sacred Blood. I intend on pushing my faith to the absolute limit, stopping at nothing to push the boundaries of what is possible using the Sacred Blood. I've seen its potential in healing, but I believe it can do so much more. I plan on pursuing these goals by any means necessary, even if it goes against the advice of my Elders. Even if it means destroying my own humanity to embrace the powers of the Sacred Blood, I believe that the risk is worth it. With these powers, I would be able to change the world, perhaps even ascend to godhood. No matter what I sacrifice, I will stop at nothing until I have realized the full potential of the Sacred Blood.
The most important event of my life was my induction into my church, the Healing Clergy of Salem. As I was the son of two members of the church, I was raised in and around the church. When I turned 18, I was finally able to be fully inducted into the Clergy and become a full-time cleric. In order to become a member of the Clergy, one must undergo a ritual to attune them to the Sacred Blood. The ritual was a long and arduous process, taking nearly 4 hours to fully complete. I sat through hours of rituals and incantations, and finally slit open my hand and poured the Sacred Blood apon the open wound. I remember the sensation of the Sacred Blood dousing my wound to this day, as my hand felt as if it had been ravanged by flames. Once all was done, I became a full member of the Clergy and have worked there since.
The three most important people in my life would be my father, Marcus Morvayn; my church elder, Kaleon Vorath; and my best friend, Alaric Mornel. My father has been my idol as long as I've been alive. I've always looked up to him not just as a father but as an inspiration and mentor. Any time I've needed advice I've always been able to look to him for advice. My church elder, Kaleon, has also been a mentor figure for me and has guided me through my early adulthood. Kaleon is also my employer, and instructs me what to do at work. He's definitely a peculiar guy, but I trust that he knows best, at least most of the time. I've known my best friend, Alaric, since I was in grade school, and we've been through everything together. We've formed an inseparable bond through our childhood and share very similar intrests.
I had a pretty privilaged childhood, going to private school throughout my education. My parents, Marcus and Lily Morvayn, were very well off and were able to provide me with a great education and made sure that I was always cared for. My parents were certainly a large influence throughout my childhood, and were great mentors whenever I needed help. In school, I was reserved and while I wasn't anti-social, I didn't really branch out that much and try to meet a buch of new people. I never really stood out in my classes, and never caused any trouble. I spent most of my time focusing on my studies, and the rest of my free time persuing different assorted hobbies. I found intrests in cars and biology, and spent a lot of time tinkering with my microscope and different mechanical contraptions. I never really did any sports while I was a kid, but I did enjoy spending time in the gym.
When I was in high school, I had a crush on a girl named Suzanna in one of my classes. We talked occasionally, but being a bit shy I never really had the confidence to ask her out or anything. Looking back I think she liked me too, as I'd catch her glancing over at me from time to time. I regret never actually asking her out, but there's nothing I can do to change the past. Since then I've been focused on either my study or religion, and haven't really had time to bother with love intrests. I'll occasionally glance at an attractive girl, but for now I need focus on my mission.
