August Alan Porter's Questionnaire

August has a permanent residence in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. This is mostly due to his working position at Western New Mexico University, which pays just enough for him to pay for the residence and basic amenities. The residence itself is a small Pueblo-style house just a few minutes' drive from the university campus, sparsely decorated and furnished with only the essentials he would need on one day. However, if it were up to him, he'd move more north, ideally to Portland, Oregon or the surrounding region. Despite the sorry state he tends to live in, Porter is often called upon for his niche expertise in the occult and supernatural to other universities around the country, and has made more than a few connections.

Porter's main source of income is that of the salary he receives from the university. While a suitable source of income, Porter tends to supplement it with whatever he can: selling marijuana which he grows in his basement, taking bribes from students for answers through his courses, and patrons on his anonymous conspiracy page, which he has kept active for nearly ten years, posting strange images and findings from his own personal research. As for spending, aside from the basics and amenities, he's frequently funding his own research with books and small travel expeditions to local sites of strange phenomena.

Porter's ambition is simple: unravel the paranormal and go down in history for it. His biggest thing he strives towards is to rise beyond his meager position as a half-baked professor and attain fame, fortune, or power from that, regardless of the harm that may come to him. Porter has already gone to extreme limits to seek this goal, having let his pursuits augment and warp his body beyond normal. 

He would very much kill for it. 

However, after the last time, his own death is not so easy to risk.
