Vulcan Heilig's Questionnaire

I live in Vienna, it is my place of birth and as I'm blind it is the only place I can navigate skillfully. Also since it is my place of birth I'm inclined to stay as a resident. It is a nice town centered in Europe, with temperate weather and classical architecture. Not only does it have historical significance it its also a large city that is widely popular around the world. While the city is grandiose, it also remains an industrial hub, and one of the ten most populated cities in Europe.
Overall it's where I was conceived, and is all I know, this culminates it into a special familiar place.

I am currently working as a performer in a group who travels to entertain. I have always been good with the art of fire and I can handle it well. I also am very dexterous and am a fit choice for a performer with such a talent.
Most of my spare money goes towards social activity, and recreation. Of course, along with payments, transit, food, etc. I have tried to create a community more or less around my obsession, which most deem odd.
I also have spent a pretty penny on historical pieces and am a collector of historical items.
Recently after being entered into the contracts, I have gained more martial pieces as of late to hone my skills and imbue my powers.

I have always wanted a true goal in my life to shape it upon. I have always been striving for supernatural enlightenment, and will do much to become what I picture as a god, or godlike. I have always been aloof in social settings due to my condition and ideals. I believe I would be willing to do most things if it offered me a opportunity to achieve my goals. I am willing to kill and put my life down if it means getting what I want. Through the outlet of the contracts I feel a strong vigor accompanying me in my search and path. Great men are forged in flame and so will I if I want to be remembered or revered.

When I was permanently blinded. It changed the way I act, live, and function as a person.
I was assaulted by a stranger who splashed my face with acid, this completely blinded me forever.
It not only affected my mind greatly, it impeded not only my career or life but my relation with people.
It created a sense of hatred for others and made me not only more egotistic but also selfish.
While I still feel a sense of camaraderie, I am mostly dissociated with the outside world, and the people inside it.
Overall throughout my life I think the contract was the only real hope for my crippled life and ideals.

(My Character doesn't represent this well, as his closest allies is in the contract or in his performance groups. I feel my character was not made for this question, and since I've spent 30 minutes writing this stuff, I want my XP, plus I'll develop this later)

My childhood was very regular though with parents split, I was often neglected and thrown aside many-a-time. My parents were vastly different and split early in my life. This created many issues with development and growth as a person for me. My parents were a familiar image of a couple, they fell in love early in life, and divorced early. They both never got properly got into a career and ended up as generalists, who did things from mechanics to working in an office. My mother was loud and father quiet, this created a huge gap in their relationship. When I went to school I succeeded well and was diligent. While I was defined as a loner, I fit in well enough to not be ostracized. While my life wasn't the greatest I feel that it wasn't troubling enough to do damage. I feel as if my childhood was mostly useless as I accomplished little and was slow to develop my character.

(Again doesn't fit my character as while this is his struggle it's never been something he wanted but again ill write something for it later to develop him)
