Imiza was born in Kenya to wealthy and loving parents. When she was four years old they took her on an impulse trip to Southern California where they were assassinated. Imiza was found alone by the crime scene cleaner nearly a week after the unfortunate event. The cleaner’s girlfriend Emery took Imiza in and raised her as her own. They lived and traveled the United States in an RV until Imiza was 17, when she left for college in Australia where she studied medicine and botany. She never finished college and decided to move to a secluded forest outside of Kaikoura New Zealand to focus on meditation and strive for enlightenment
Living completely off grid keeps costs low for Imiza. She doesn’t rely on money, but it’s nice to have. As far as how she gets it…There’s the Treasure hunting in the costal ocean for scrap metal and valuable trinkets, the occasional gold piece, and mostly random junk that can be DIYed into something useful. Then the oh so lucrative growing, foraging and selling of local organic produce at farmers markets, namely sweet potatoes, passion fruit, blueberries, and guava. Her real money maker happens during tourist season when she leads yoga and meditation classes on the beach. So yeah, it varies.
Imiza envisions a utopia marked by the end to all injustices caused by the human race, the achievement of nirvana by all people, the end to climate change and industrialization, a world where no one kills animals for meat, where all people can unlock the true strength and power of their own minds.
