Kyle lives in Los Angeles, California. Cowabunga, dude! He grew up in the Bay Area, and moved down for college (he attended UCLA on a water polo scholarship, where he eeked out a degree in Economy). He can't imagine living anywhere other than California, and particularly loves SoCal because it is sunny year round. The better for him to be able to wear muscle tanks, of course! He also loves LA because there are so many influencing opportunities there, and great gyms.
His home is a condo in a nice building downtown, near a lot of the movie studio buildings. He rents a condo on one of the upper floors, and keeps the place pretty sparse and minimalist so that it's better for filming content in. It looks mostly the same as any other influencer's condo; white, bare, and full of random supplements
Kyle is a very successful fitness influencer, producing content for all of the main social media platforms as well as being paid to advertise for all sorts of products and events. He frequently appears on red carpets wearing whatever someone has paid him to wear (as long as it shows off his body), or on sponsored posts talking up a new pre-work out powder.
Kyle spends his money on whatever is needed for him and his assistant Chad to produce new content. Cameras, computers, special lighting set-ups, and of course, Chad's salary. He also spends his money on protein powders (one day he dreams of creating his own), doggie daycare and all the fancy toys for his precious Labradoodle Jenkins, and whatever he has recently misplaced and opted to repurchase instead of looking for. He also buys the latest in new fitness equipment frequently.
One day, Kyle is sure that he will be known and loved by all. He wants to be a positive force in the world, one that is able to make a difference in people's lives and to guide them towards a brighter future. He doesn't, like, know how to do that yet, but he's sure that once he gets more followers he'll get closer. Maybe if he starts doing a weekly yoga stream to help people relax?
He would definitely go pretty far for this. He already advertises stuff that he doesn't even use himself- he knows that influencing can get pretty shady. He could probably kill someone if he had to, bro. He's gotten pretty messed up before in the name of gains or "the bit", so he could probably tank whatever comes his way, he thinks.
The water polo finals, his freshman year of college, when he had always been a fairly self-centered guy who didn't really feel the need to fit in with others. His team had been a group of misfits, most of them transfers or freshman, after the last team had been champions who had almost all graduated the year previously. Miraculously, Kyle's team made it to the finals, looking to defend the title- however, their sense of team-ness was lacking and they had no true leader. In the locker room the morning of the game, Kyle realized that if no one else was going to step up, it had to be him. Looking around at this group of muscled men in Speedos, he gave the most rousing pep talk any of them had ever heard, and instilled in them a sense of fire and fight not seen since the time of the gladiators.
They went out into the water that day and thoroughly trounced their opponents, with Kyle's teammates lifting him onto their shoulders afterwards and hailing him as the new team captain. He led them to three more championships, and learned what it truly means to help others reach their potential as well as to be loved by them.
His assistant Chad, who takes care of the behind-the-scenes work for Kyle's influencing. He acts as agent, cameraman, editor, and occasionally legal team. They met in college as water polo teammates, and formed a strong friendship that translated naturally to a business partnership. Chad is quieter and more thoughtful than Kyle, and happy to be off camera while helping Kyle find success. They co-parent Kyle's Labradoodle, Jenkins, and Chad lives in the second bedroom of Kyle's condo. (This is the person he's closest to).
His mom, Sarah, who he calls at least three times a week. She is a highly successful lawyer in San Francisco, and does her best to help set Kyle up for success. She was skeptical of this influencing stuff at first, but is quite proud of what he's achieved (and of the retirement plan she's made sure Chad is setting up for him).
The nice lady at doggie daycare, Taylor. Jenkins the dog has decided that she is the third-best human alive (after his dad's), so Kyle thinks she is absolutely fantastic. He frequently buys her dog toys and various supplies he thinks she may need for the business, and is currently trying to help her with her dating life.
