Lavi's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Lavi has traveled all around the world in their time as an independent researcher.  After seeking their master's degree in wildlife conservation, they began bouncing from one research base to the next, always happy to pick up everything and move somewhere new.  In the past three years, they have been traveling across Africa and tracking migrations of elephants.  They are currently stationed just outside of the Congo basin.  Their research base is a collection of seven or eight large tents populated by researchers studying various environmental factors in the area until their grant money runs out and they're forced to return to their sponsoring organizations - schools, zoos, and conservation organizations around the world.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Lavi is currently funded strictly by research grant money that feeds and houses them and their colleagues.  There's a limited budget for everything including necessities, so much of Lavi's day to day needs are negotiated through trade and cash from odd jobs that they pick up in nearby cities.  They are currently on a work visa, so they are able to work, but they rarely have time outside of their typical research duties, so they are on a strict budget.  Most of their money is spent on maintaining their camera, gas for the Jeep, food, and laundry costs.  They're not keen on scrubbing their clothes by hand.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Lavi wants nothing short of the destruction of the Foundation and the release of all SCPs held in their various Sites.  After witnessing a Mobile Task Force attack and capture a supernatural animal in the forests of the Congo, they followed them far enough to figure out where they were going.  They sought out the Site, and vowed immediately to find a way to communicate with and free the prisoners within its walls.  Through study and endless research, they've seen past the Veil, and the evil of the Foundation.  Nothing is more important to them than destroying that evil.  They truly believe that the world would be better with even world-ending threats no longer in containment.  After witnessing the cruelty with which the MTF acted, they have no qualms with showing that cruelty back, even if it came to murder, and they would happily die to see these creatures and people free.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before Lavi's first Contract.

The most defining event of Lavi's life was witnessing a mass grave of African forest elephants in the Congo.  While at their most recent research base, they were tracking the altered migration of a group of local elephants that had been tagged for years.  While doing this research and going out to photograph the newest calf, they came across a grave of thirteen elephants, including the matriarch and the newborn calf, with their horns poached and their bodies left to rot.  It was their job to record what they saw.  It was also the hardest set of photographs they ever took.  The slaughter has affected them every since, and left them deeply shaken and full of rage for justice and revenge.
