Felix Hureon's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

I live in Flint Michigan, or at least the town close to it. My home is fairly nice, minus the constant need to drive to buy my water, it'es a two-story townhome with a drive way and a garage. I effectively live the American dream, minus the ever-rising price for things, I do my best to keep a roof over my head and things moderately good on the scale of having an okay job at the university of Michigan. The town itself is full of people who are a tad ignorant, maybe because of the water, and kids with nothing better to do than to jump in the river or go to the pot shop where my cousin works.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

I work for the University of Michigan as a rather less-than-average paid professor, probably because what I study is biology, but I also look into supernatural cases and similar things. Although I've yet to do a lot of research on aspects of my minor, I've been well accustomed to working on biological life forms and understanding their inner workings so to speak. Not to sound like I'm some pompous asshole, I know full well that knowing all this sounds a bit...odd, but its something I've been passionate about for a long time and I've always wanted to pursue my own research as such I had to start from somewhere.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

My goal? Hm, well I think I'd like to learn about and understand the more supernatural aspects of our world. Although I feel they're more hidden than I'd like to see them be, I'd be happy to fully understand and get to know these beasts and creatures on a more personal level. As for what I'd do after that? Easy, use that supernatural power of theirs to make a more fun and interesting world, after all the world as it is as rather boring and I'd like something to spice it up. Although when it comes down to it, I may do a few things for it, killing? I don't know, but if it has anything to do with it then I may just have too.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before Felix Hureon's first Contract.

When I was young I didn't have many friends, I was studious and worked hard to be good in class, I didn't have time to be young and adventurous. However, when I became a teenager I saw something, something odd that I couldn't explain, it was small and black. It moved like a serpent but had small horns on its head, its eyes shimmered like blue diamonds and its body left no indication on the ground. I had no idea what it was, why it was in my yard, and soon...where it went too. But I saw it and I know it was real, as such I would spend the rest of my studies and time researching into the unknown, discovering the monsters that lurk in the dark. I wanted to know, I wanted to understand, and maybe one day, I hoped to even tame such creatures.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Roger Sturdevant: He's my brother, he runs the weed and drug shop in the town I live in. Funny enough he's not a massive stoner and is just as good at medicine as I am, after all we went to schools round the same time for nearly the same thing, but he did the same thing. Made a business around something our town couldn't get enough of, I was the dumb one and wanted to go deeper into biology of all things.

Osmand Hilmyer: He is one of my co. workers at the school I teach, he's really cool to hang out with, very lax and a good drinking buddy when I'm feeling stressed out. We've been friends since high school and I wouldn't trade his friendship for anything in the world.

Clover: My dog is a black labrador, she's such a sweet bean, always happy to see me and excited when I come into the door. Goes with out saying I love dogs and animals, part of the reason I took up my field of study, but she brings me so much joy. Much more than some people in my family do.

6. How was your childhood? Who were your parents? What were they like? Did you attend school? If so, did you fit in? If not, why not?

Link Answered after Contract 1, Beware the Assassin!

My childhood was uneventful, I was the typical boy who didn't like playing with all the popular kids in school, or just going to parties and stuff. I spend my time playing WoW with my online friends when I have the time for it after doing homework and chores. My parents are good folks, supportive and helped to get me get through my higher education, never really had much of an issue with them besides the overbearing attitude of them wanting me to get a masters degree but eh. As for school I had too, the University of Minnesota, got my education degree there as well as had a good time fitting in for once. WHo knew adults would be better at not being jackasses than kids.

But over all my life growing up wasn't so bad, and now I live in a modest suburb only a few miles away from the school I work at, hopefully things don't change.

7. Have you ever been in love? With who? What happened? If not, why not?

Love? A few times...

Had a friend I enjoyed being around, name was Susan, she was great and seemingly liked all my dumb crap. From my music choices to how I used to be one of the droks in high school, however, it didn't work out, she found some guy right after I got out of high school and they're married and have kids. Now? I mean unless I want to be involved with Ms. Gretchen, the 75-year-old English teacher, I think I'm fine just focusing on money and building my career. Although I've always wanted to have kids, I think at least my work has fulfilled some of that love

8. What are your worst fears? Why?

Link Answered after Contract 2, Terra Forma

I had a lot of fears before, mainly losing everyone I knew and loved, but that fear is slowly starting to take a back seat to whats happening around me. I've already lost my mother and father due to the world slowly destroying itself, I nearly lost Clover, my dog. I can only imagine who else I may have lost, those contractors who worked with me before, wondering if I will ever see some of them again. Or enjoy my time with them in some way shape or form, its all hard to feel so connected to other people. So in a way, yeah, I'm still fearful of that, but I know I can march on ahead even if they're gone.

As for other fears I still fear that this world might not last very long, and its showing. I want to try and make something for people to escape too but what? How the hell will I be able to do that with out the power or ability to even try. The rich will have their own means, but their money will not save them completely, so really I hope I can find some alternative to bring those I care about into and just live out a nice life some place far away from this hell.

9. What is (are) your most prized possession(s)? What makes it (them) so special?

Link Answered after Contract 2, Terra Forma

Haha! Funny question to ask when I nearly lost everything after the earth quakes, well...I guess I could put it up to my dog Clover. She's not a possession to say the least, but she's what I have left in this world now that I've lost so many other family members. Clover is my special little beagle, so cute and always happy to see me, every time I get off form work she's right there to help me feel better if it was a long day or just a lot of stress on my part.

For items, I don't have much any more, I got my car and a solid place to live after the sinkholes, but I managed to at least pull a nice pincle and paper I swiped off my desk before it happened. Its a simple art pencil I had for a while, but its whats kept me focused and in a way, alive, for so long.
