EDDY's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Eddy lives in The Pines Apartments in Keene, New Hampshire. He lives 3 doors down from his parents, who helped him "move out" of their "house". EDDY doesn't very much care for his parents due to there repeated negligence and abusive actions. EDDYS apartment is spotless, organized, and alphabetized. EDDY doesn't hang posters or decorations, and the only colorful thing in his apartment is a small rose bush he takes care of diligently. He also owns a Belgian Malinois, which he named spirit and cares for deeply. EDDY has a office job as a IT "specialist" although he's not quite sure what his job is supposed to be. EDDY only lives where he lives because of fear, and soon he will break from that fear and become what he knows he is deep down. A warrior.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

EDDY Currently works as a IT specialist during the day. He also does odd jobs for people looking for petty revenge on his dark web website. He would take up more serious elicit activities, but feels he does not have the power to do that yet. He spends most of his money on dog food, organic tv dinners, distilled water, and ammo for his gun. He also has a bad habit of buying random tacti-cool gadgets and weapons. His most recent purchase is a multitool self defense pen, which he swears will come in handy one day. He does not own a car, but he has a moped that he calls the stallion.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

EDDY hates the corporate world. He feels the only way to cure the corruption of the modern world is through violent action. EDDY wishes to eliminate corrupt politicians and dictators around the world. He despises greed and believes a person should be defined by their moral core and not their wallets. EDDY has no real reaction to death, except for animals, which he sees as innocent. EDDY is also willing to die for his beliefs, although would prefer to go out in a blaze of glory if it did come to that. EDDY sees himself as a warrior concealed in a metaphorical prison, destined for glory and righteous violence, yet suppressed and constricted by the soul crushing nature of modernity.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

When EDDY was a child, his father was laid off from his job due to declining profits. Most fathers would seek the comfort of their family and just keep looking for a job. EDDY father was not most fathers. EDDY's father staged a violent protest against his place of work, attacking the owner and the guards with molotovs. The thing is, EDDY's father worked close to home. Through the fire and the sirens, EDDY saw his fathers violent display, his fathers final words before being shot dead by the police where " May the rich and fat of the world burn, take heart my prodigy, act with subtlety and strike at the heart of this corrupt beast of greed!" EDDY wasn't sure what he meant at the time, but years later those words power his action more than any other.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

EDDY has very few people in his life, one of whom is his boss, Ted, whom he does not particularly like. He doesn't like to talk to his co-workers, although he does have an eye for a woman named Mathilda, but he never has the courage to speak to her, so he stares at her uncomfortably more often than he'd like to admit. The only person close to EDDY is his online friend Louie, who claims that they are a card counter in Las Vegas, although EDDY has doubts about whether his claims of grandeur and high-roller lifestyle are truthful. EDDY speaks to Louie quite commonly on Skype (Louie hates it, but EDDY feels comfortable with it), where EDDY talks to Louie about his dog and whatever new gadget he buys, and Louie spins his yarns of the many fabulous experiences he has in Las Vegas. Every once in a while, the two friends break the illusion of their normal situations and come clean of their faults. It is through these occasional moments of clarity that EDDY knows that Louie has very few friends as well and is scared of committing to any of the many women he finds himself in the company of on cold Nevada nights. Likewise, Louie also knows of EDDYS' actual name, as well as his beliefs about those in high places, which doesn't seem to bother Louie much ( the reason why is still a mystery to EDDY). EDDY was an only child, but he considers Louie his brother in spirit, as does Louie.

6. How was your childhood? Who were your parents? What were they like? Did you attend school? If so, did you fit in? If not, why not?

EDDY was raised as an only child by his mother and father, TOM and MARGRET, although his mother wasn't very interested in caring for EDDY and would often neglect him, leaving him home alone at the age of 5. Meanwhile, his father was working 12-hour shifts just to make ends meet, and anytime he was home, he would either be bringing EDDY to the park to enjoy nature or Arguing with his mother for one reason or another. EDDY's father hated EDDY's mother but feared losing EDDY in a custody battle, so he reluctantly stayed for EDDY's sake. EDDY would often dream of moving away from home with his father to a place that was peaceful, filled with cranes (his favorite bird), and free. EDDY's father would often speak to EDDY about the long line of spies and black ops agents that only he and EDDY knew about (due to their history being buried by the government) and wax philosophical about the immorality of apathy and the necessity of action when faced with corruption, although most of this flew over EDDY's head at the time due to his age. EDDY's world changed at the age of 12 when his father finally snapped from the pressure of losing his job. The last EDDY saw of his father was him being shot down by the police after he burned down his place of work after they let him go for " strictly business reasons." EDDY's father's final words were, " May the rich and fat of the world burn, take heart my prodigy, act with subtlety and strike at the heart of this corrupt beast of greed!" these words confused EDDY at the time, but were cemented all the same, and soon became his motto. After his father's death, EDDY's mother quickly found a new partner, another, and many more over the course of EDDY's adolescence and teenage years. EDDY was a very unsociable kid at school, making him a prime target for bullying, although these attempts were short-lived due to EDDYS's aggressive nature, having bitten the nose off of an attempted adolescent assailant. These actions led to EDDY being expelled from most of the schools he attended, and eventually, his mother put him in an online homeschool program. This gave EDDY much time on his own, where he would sneak off to the local park as a teenager to train in his acrobatic skills, as he was fond of the outdoor callisthenic equipment present at the park. EDDY would always bring bird food for the cranes at the park's lake, making them almost his pets. EDDY lived in this way for most of his teenage years until he was forced to move out and get a job as an IT specialist at a place that was recommended by his mother's current partner.

7. Have you ever been in love? With who? What happened? If not, why not?

Link Answered after Contract 1, Mushroom Hunt

EDDY has never truly been in love, although he has a fancy for a woman named Mathilda at his work. Conversation starting was never EDDY's strong suit, so most of his interactions with Mathilda were brief and casual. While never having the courage to ask Mathilda out, EDDY has tried other methods, although these have been less than effective. EDDY would often leave paper Mache cranes on Mathilda's desk while she was away because of his love for the animal. EDDY ceased this after seeing that this was making Mathilda uncomfortable since he never came forward as the one who was doing it. EDDY feels terrible for making Mathilda uncomfortable with his actions but can't bring himself to come forward about it. EDDY hopes that one day he can move away and find a new place, a new person, one he would be capable of interacting with normally so that he would no longer be a nuisance to a woman he knew he could never be with, and knew deep down that she was better off for it.
