Love Runner's Questionnaire

"Oh, I love interviews!

Well, I live in La Paz, capital of Baja California, baby! My favorite city on earth! I live here cuz... well, cuz I was born here, obviously! And in a city like this, with gorgeous beaches and long roads and great people... well, why would I ever wanna go anywhere else? The place is beautiful, the food is to die for, and everybody is so friendly and approachable and fun. Just like me! Heh heh.

As for where I live... well it shows up when I do casual chats on my livestreams, but I've got a small apartment in the like. Regular part of town! I think it's pretty regular at least. Though I guess it's always felt regular because I've lived here..."

"Hah! So you actually haven't heard of me? So what's the interview for then?

Psh, I'm just yanking your chain, buddy! I don't mind chatting, hahaha. Well, since you must know, I'm Love Runner! Yes, the Love Runner! I tear up the streets on my custom made bike and snap shots so that everybody can see my gorgeous technique! People online love me! I live stream and record videos and basically am just... the coolest street racer of all time!

Oh also, I have like, a really fun regular job too! I'm a mechanic as well, so, yknow! Brains and beauty, am I right?

All the stuff goes back into my work! I buy stuff to work on my bike and I do repairs and buy equipment for my videos and stuff like that. You know, just regular cool girl stuff!"

"Woah, uhhhh... y'know, people usually wait until at least question five before they get to philosophy stuff, ahaha.

Uh, well, I mean, isn't it obvious? I'm Love Runner! The only destination for a girl like me is up! All the way up at the top, even! I'm going to be the best street racer in the world! It's my goal to be a superstar! And a superstar is the best! I need everybody to know my name! I can hear them chanting it now..."

She pumps her fist a couple of times, and the cups a hand around her mouth.

"Loooooooove Love Love Runnerrrrrrr!!! Whoop whoop whoop!"

"Hehehe. Y'know, like that!...

...whuh? Why would I ever play dirty? Races are supposed to be fun. It doesn't count as winning if you kill the other racer. Everybody knows that. And sure, you get into some real close scrapes sometimes, but those are all for the cameras. Racing is about adrenaline! You take some risks, feel like you're about to fall... then pop a wheelie and burn rubber while you roar over the finish line while the crowd screams your name! That's racing! And racing is what Love Runner's all about!"

"Heh. Well, what do you think? What might define a super racing rockstar like myself... I'll give you one guess!

My dad got me a dirtbike when I was a kid. That was like... my big gift. I'd begged and begged for somethin' better than a bike, and boy did I get one. Have you ever burned down a dirt road, wind whipping through your hair and dirt blasting at your cheeks while a well built vehicle roars underneath you and tears over open ground? It's bliss... haah...

I've been addicted to the road ever since. I can't get enough of it! I've gotta be tearing down something to get my thoughts straight, and it's been super centralizing to my life. Speed's in my blood, yknow! It's my soul!"

"Oh, these questions are always so tough...

Well! My dad, I think! His name's Jamie! He's from here, in Mexico, and he's always been great. Like I said earlier, he was the one who got me my first bike, and it's been smooth sailing ever since. He's never been much of a handyman, funny enough, but really he's too nice to me, even considering that I'm his daughter! Hahaha.

Um... next, I'm still close to my mom, Jumei! You can see one of the reasons my parents got married, hahaha. She and my dad have always been really close. Mom's from mainland China, and her cooking is like... The Best, yknow? Like, all moms have the best cooking in the world, obviously, but like. My mom could beat your mom, y'know? Heh heh.

Oh, and my boss! I super adore my boss! He's a great guy, super patient and understanding! His name's Galler, Galler Penn, and I work at his mechanic shop with him! He's like, the strong, stoic, silent type, which works just perfect for me because I love to chat! He always listens, even when he's working, and he's so fun to hold a conversation with! Really smart too, I feel like I'm always learnin' more about cars and stuff when I work with him!"

"Aw, pffffft! Well if you were gonna ask about my parents, you should have done this question first!

My parents are great! They live like... kinda on the other side of the city, but still mostly within reasonable distance, y'know? Family close and all that. My mom has always been big on family stuff, even after she moved here to live with my dad. They made my childhood pretty great, heh. We weren't always the best off, but they always made sure to care for me and make me feel loved and give me good food and stuff like that. I couldn't ask for better parents, to be honest.

And I totally went to school! High school, at least. It was pretty fun, I guess... I'm not a fan of studying, really, except for about cars and stuff, and just liiiiike... I dunno! It was fun hanging out with friends. I had a lot of friends! Some of them were the ones that like, told me I should make a channel to share my videos and stuff! And look where I am now, ahaha."

"Ooooooh, prying into a fair maiden and low key online celebrity's love life, are we? You little gossip you!

Aw, don't look like that, I'm teasing! Listen, some people aren't as interesting in the romance department as you'd might think! Ol' Love Runner's had her own fair share of romantic romps back in the day! It's just that love's not always what we're lookin' for in a relationship, if you catch my drift! And I'm okay with that! Usually I'm the one in that position, to be honest... But ignoring that! Love's not everything, my friend! I know, ironic considering the name.

But I'm Love Runner because my dashing figure as I scream down these roads, windblasted hair and award winning smile is supposed to set your heart alight, like a flash of inspirational love fizzling to life in a burning hot pan of desire! It's about the image, the scene, the setting... that's what love is about! That's what Love Runner's about!
