Robin's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Link Answered before Robin's first Contract.

"Oh, that's funny. What town or city... Fuck off.

I live in a beautiful hotel with lodging and food included in my stay. All they ask is that I never leave, and that they can take samples of me and perform frankly disgusting experiments with my body and my needs.

It's a prison, in case you didn't catch that."

The prisoner is lying in their bed, which functions as an operating table when the Jailers need it to. A loud clang is heard from the door, and one of their guards yells:
"Shut up in there, 14!"

The prisoner sighs.

You can hear my thoughts, too, right?

They're our thoughts now, Robin.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Link Answered before Robin's first Contract.

Sick question, after the last one. You think I get money in here?

I know you get money in here. I can feel the few dollars in our pocket.

My pocket, you mean.

I said what I meant. Answer the question.

Fine, fine. If I don't resist them, they give me a little cash. I can spend it for better digs, or fresher blood.

But you have some in our pocket now.

Yeah?

You haven't been resisting?

The voice sounds furious.

Robin growls, and slashes a gash into the side of the bed.

The prisoner didn't do that - that was the voice. The prisoner shakes their head. They're in control. The voice isn't in charge, here.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Link Answered before Robin's first Contract.

My ambition is simple. I want to ensure there's no one else ever chained like this.

And? How far will you go?

If I find a way to get us out of here, I'll take it.

That's it? I guess I should be glad you said us. You're starting to figure it out. But we're going to need a little more than just taking the way out. We're going to need to create our own, one of these days. Start counting guards, counting steps. Train our body, and our mind. Kill anyone in our way. And most importantly - We can't stop here. We need to kill all would be Jailers. From these idiotic guards, to the harbinger that put me here.

What's a-

You'll find out, soon enough.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before Robin's first Contract.

This is a complicated one. There's two obvious answers - you can probably guess them.

Yeah. When you were turned, and when you were caught, right?

Right. I was turned a long while ago, by human standards. Somewhere in the neighbourhood of 60 years. It was for love, of course. Stupid. I could be retired instead of in this cell.

Instead of powerful, you mean? This cell will crumble around you before you die here. You are like a god to these ants, don't forget that.

Sure, sure.
Anyway, the second one was getting caught. Can you guess how?

So, you're a romantic, then.

Not anymore.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Link Answered before Robin's first Contract.

Well, in a literal sense, there's you.

That's sad as hell, but I guess I could have expected as much, in this cell.

What's your name?

Not important anymore. We're Robin, now.

Don't you remember it?

...I do.

So?

...It was Wren.

Another bird. Bit of a theme, huh?

I want to be free. Birds embody that. I never could. We are going to, now.

Yeah, sure. One day.

The rest of the question?

Right, right. There's Doctor Epsilon. I'd say she's a nice lady, except she runs my tests and steals my blood.

Our blood.

Uh huh. Blonde, and younger than I thought people could be to have jobs and roles like this. Gotta be a story there. Anyway, you'll like my answer for the third, I bet.

Oh, yeah? Why's that?

Cause I never even met 'em. I just heard the guards talking while Dr. E was taking some "time off" from seeing subjects. Another subject in here broke her arm. My hero.

6. How was your childhood? Who were your parents? What were they like? Did you attend school? If so, did you fit in? If not, why not?

Link Answered after Contract 1, Terra Forma

It was so long ago... do we really need to hash this out?

I'm not asking these things for no reason. We need to integrate more fully, and I need to understand this information for that to happen.

I mean, you could tell me about your shit too, right? Wouldn't that help?

No. You're not trying to integrate with me, I need to integrate with you.

Isn't that the same shit?

No. You're not the psychic here, shut up and answer.

Which is it?

Answer.

Okay. Well, it was a long ass time ago. It's hard to remember, these days. My parents were... okay, I guess? Strict and shitheads about it but most of 'em are. School sucked, but again I think that's normal. I had a few friends, but we were the worst. Top of the pack in the worst way.

Why did it have to be you?

Beats me.

7. Have you ever been in love? With who? What happened? If not, why not?
