Drova's Questionnaire

The far north is my home. Cold, and isolated in between pine forest and small lakes. A small cabin hand built, same with the solar panels, wind turbine, and gasification system to produce heat and run a backup generator. At first glance, a low tech survivalist home but on closer inspection, high speed network dish, long range radio and cell antennas hidden between trees. Around the place are field, berry bushes, and fruit trees. Little of it is visible during the long winters, just a few markers sticking out of the snow. In summer, however, the fields are filled with fast-growing storage crops that thrive in the long sunny days.
