Yoru's Questionnaire

Prague is a capital city of Czech Republic. It is considered a heart of Europe.

Underneath the city there is many mysteries, most of them are of historic value. Some on the other hand are much less about what happened and more about potentials. This includes CES - Containment facility for Experiments on Supernatural beings. CES is secret facility containing many different phenomena. Mostly then living ones.

Experiments are mostly harmless and usually volunteer based. At least that's' the case for young Radek Ulter, who was in charge of mineralogy research for effects on supernatural beings. During one of the experiments a soul found him and in violent fuse he forgot many things, some of them replaced by the new guest. And from that on, his secondary home of the facility became his only one. 

Yoru doesn't need any money really, he lives rent-free inside CES. Whenever he want's a bit more comfort or some expensive treat, he signs for experiments and such.

Spending on his research is completely different story. As he is allowed to continue on his original research on resonance, now with all-time volunteer for experiments. Government goes quite lengths to provide measuring devices and various gemstones including raw diamonds and other rare precious stones.

With that said when he is allowed to see the natural light he does so in cover of facemask, heavy coat and few crowns in his pocket.

Even before the fusion were both Radek and Yora'tu interested in psionics. Both with different point of view. One saw it as an extension of will and mind, the other as a resonance field, that can be changed, reshaped. Either way both wanted the same thing. Bring it to the people. Let it be either next step in humanity's evolution or a mean to better lives of others.

As wise man once said, there is no progress without sacrifice. And that Making a big step forward means leaving some things behind. With something like this, cost of few lives is nothing. Even he himself would go trough this if it means to be able to give people what they strife for.

One moment a researcher in his white coat listening to vibration of rock crystals. Looking into screen for new statistics. Peaceful and open minded.
The very next moment an abomination of body and mind. Intruder turned into friend, like minds. A gem embedded inside a head. Literal meaning of open mind. And then it came.

The fusion.

Two souls merging into one mind. Which name to choose, what hobbies, what memories. So much memories, feelings and experiences.

Two materials merging into one body. One of flesh one of crystal. Fibres made of glass, gems bending like a skin. So much pain, hurt and stress.

Vanesa Ulterová, his sister. Her being older became his caretaker when their parents were often out working. She is also the one who gave him his first gemstone. He called him Saph sapphire for his blue eyes. She was called Emi as in short for emerald in return for the same reason. If only he could tell her he is alive and better than ever.

Tomáš Tetra, his colleague, who he shared his lab and passion with. When he first came into CES he was assigned as assistant for Radek, and they quickly became friends. In same manner of nicknames he called him Topas, as it sounded similar to his name anyways.

Aneta Tetrová, Tomáš's sister, she was assigned to take care of subject Rock Crystal - Yoru himself. She is the one who takes him back to his cell when he passes out in resonance chamber and she is the only one to sit there and talk to him, as he can't speak and can't remember sign language. Others doesn't have the patience.
