[Blank]'s Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

Graveyard: A Level 1 Skeleton does not have a permanent home. It wanders aimlessly, often lingering in ruins, battlefields, or abandoned villages where it was first raised. Having been left behind by its original group—either due to misfortune or simple neglect—it has no real attachments to any location.

Why Here?: The skeleton remains in familiar territory out of instinct, searching for purpose or direction. It lacks the intelligence to establish a new home but will seek shelter in places that provide cover from the elements and threats. Its continued presence in an area is usually dictated by external forces, such as the remnants of its past life, lingering magic, or sheer convenience.

Home Description: With no true home, a Level 1 Skeleton takes shelter wherever it can. It may rest in crypts, hollow trees, or the remains of abandoned buildings, drawn to places that resemble its former resting place. If near civilization, it tends to avoid detection, hiding in ruins or beneath bridges. Its sense of comfort is rudimentary at best, relying more on familiarity than personal preference.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

Link Answered before [Blank]'s first Contract.

How It Gets Money: A Level 1 Skeleton has no conventional means of earning money. If it possesses coin, it is either scavenged from corpses, looted from ruins, or a remnant of its past life. In rare cases, if it has retained some cunning or skill, it may resort to theft, picking pockets or breaking into unattended storerooms. However, without guidance, most skeletons do not prioritize wealth unless their past instincts push them toward it.

What It Spends Money On: A Level 1 Skeleton has little use for money, as it does not need food, drink, or common comforts. However, if it retains habits from its previous life—especially as a former thief—it may collect coin out of reflex. When given the opportunity, it might spend money on weapons, armor repairs, or tools useful for survival. In rare cases, if old memories linger, it could hoard valuables with no real purpose beyond the feeling that it once mattered.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Link Answered before [Blank]'s first Contract.

Ambition: A Level 1 Skeleton has no true ambition. It exists, fights, and endures because that is all it knows. It does not dream of power, wealth, or purpose—only the next battle, the next step forward. Its only drive is to persist, growing stronger through conflict and survival.

How Far It Would Go: The skeleton does not consciously strive for anything, but it will follow its instincts. If faced with opposition, it will fight. If given a task, it will complete it. There is no hesitation, no moral conflict—only action.

Would It Kill for It?: The skeleton kills because it must, not because it desires to. If something stands in its way, it cuts it down. If survival demands blood, it does not question the cost.

How Close to Death Would It Come?:** Death is meaningless to the skeleton. It does not fear destruction, nor does it seek to avoid it. If it falls in battle, then that is where its story ends—until something raises it again.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before [Blank]'s first Contract.

Defining Event: A Level 1 Skeleton does not remember its past life. Whatever it was before—thief, soldier, peasant—is lost to time. The only event that truly defines it now is its resurrection. One moment, it was nothing. The next, it stood among the dead, aware but empty.

How It Changed: This rebirth stripped away its identity, leaving behind only instincts and fragmented memories. It moves and fights because that is all it knows, but without the purpose it once had. Whether it was a coward or a hero before, none of it matters now. It is simply a skeleton, wandering without reason, existing only because something willed it back into the world.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Link Answered before [Blank]'s first Contract.

A Level 1 Skeleton has no connections or meaningful relationships. It was once a living being—perhaps a thief, soldier, or common folk—but all memories of its past life have been erased by death and the subsequent resurrection. There is no one searching for it, no loved ones mourning its loss, and no enemies left to avenge its death. Abandoned by whatever group or entity it was once part of, it now wanders the world alone, moving forward without a sense of purpose.

The skeleton’s existence is driven by an instinctual need to fight and survive, slowly growing stronger with every battle and every challenge. It levels up with each passing encounter, its power increasing as it adapts and endures. Though it has no conscious ambition or goal, the act of surviving, evolving, and leveling up keeps it moving forward. Its only true motivation is the drive to persist, growing stronger with each step, even though it has no true purpose or connections to the world around it.
