Ambroise Laven's Questionnaire

Ambroise lives among an abandoned monastery in the french countryside. With no monk's left to claim it and the site mostly in ruins he makes the most of it, living among the cold stone.

His reputation making it increasingly difficult for him to settle among the population centres he opted to move to a more subtle location. Though clients were far and few between out here he had what he needed to live and it was peaceful enough.

Though this whole site is his 'Home' he spends the most of his time among one of the Monastery's cellar in which he's retrofitted to being a cosy living space which his library of books and medical tools. Paired with a small kitchen nearby and a makeshift medical suite for his procedures he has everything one could need, at least someone in his position.

Ambroise gets what little money he has by performing illicit medical procedures for those who want to avoid hospitals or are otherwise inclined to visit a less than legitimate doctor. 

Nowadays his opportunities to perform surgery are far and few between as he lies low but the payments are more than enough to sustain him. He doesn't earn much but what he does he uses well, primarily using his money to sustain himself with food and the such.

What he doesn't require for basic necessities is spend on upkeep for his home and tools. It's not much but hey, it's enough for him.
