Violet Skye's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

I don't live in a town or city, but if I had to place a spot I live near it would be nearby Fairbanks, Alaska. I have always preferred somewhere in the cold to live in, and Alaska is quite the chilly place. I live in a humble log cabin, it doesn't have too many rooms but I do have a room where I practice my witchcraft, a kitchen, bedroom, and living room. I am somewhat of a hermit so living alone in the woods is so much nicer than having to deal with mortals questioning why I always seem to youthful. But at times it can get a bit lonely, despite the beauty and peace of the forest

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

I tend to sell tinctures and remedies to those in town, they aren't magical in nature like you would expect from a witch who lives in the forest. However they are a good way to make money up north where hospitals aren't too common and they are very cheap compared to modern medicine. This is secondary to what my real studies are but they are an alright enough way earn money for occult studies. Currently I have discovered a method of altering the forms of others as a method of harm, maybe in the future I can learn how to make potions as well.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

My ambition might seem scary to most, after all plunging the world into night is terrifying to most people but I know differently. Humanity fears the night and reveres the day, I think it is time to let the creatures of the night gain the ability to live as they wish. Magic is something to be feared by mortals, but it is something I aspire to seek the depths of. If anyone dares to step in my way I'll make sure their souls are of use for me, nothing shall be wasted in my quest to reach the depths of magic. If I had to I would even die for just a glimpse of the deep dark that I aspire towards.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before Violet Skye's first Contract.

That would be when my mentor found me as a young girl in the 1920s and decided to teach me magic. She was a rather strange witch, only teaching me theory for decades and once I finally figured out a spell she told me that I was on my own and that I shouldn't contact her until I had obtained greater mastery in spellcrafting. As a result of that I live by myself, her parting gift to me however was a spell that she said would quadruple my lifespan, and I would learn more spells if I travel further down this pathway, potentially even becoming immortal.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Firstly is my mentor, she never told me her real name saying names had power but I tended to call her Mentor Iris. She raised me from a young age and taught me everything I know about magic and monsters. A more recent person I've come to know is a man named Tom Nolan. He is a baker that I encountered while selling my tinctures and he occasionally gives me free bread and pastries. It looks like he looks forward to my monthly trips into town because I always end up seeing him waiting nearby my stand as if he wants to be my first customer. A third person I know is a young lady named Nora White, she used to be a little girl that would come to me whenever she scraped her knee and I would treat her for free. However as she has grown up she still likes to hang around me and talk about various things, I've come to appreciate the company and she helps me keep up to date on current world events as I don't own much that keeps me connected to the outside world.
