The user sinks into either their own shadow or an adjacent shadow and pops out from any shadow within line of sight.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend 2 rounds to activate. Select a Location within your line of sight , and which is directly adjacent to Shadows. You must be within arm's reach of Shadows to activate this Effect.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. You must wait 1 full Round before activating this Effect again.
Her crosshair tattoo, even if damaged, has blessed her with eyes that are able to see in ways that others are not.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
Lucy's shadow has grown to gain a semblance of sentience. It protects her against rounds from firearms, but routinely bullies and criticizes her by whispering in a low tone only she can hear in her own head. Occasionally, it may talk to others that try to talk to it, hurling obscenities and curses.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You have 6 Armor, which only reduces damage taken from Firearm Rounds. Any armor piercing effects from Firearm Rounds are ignored. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Any time your Armor prevents damage, your total Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 1. Whenever you go two Rounds without preventing any damage, it is restored back to its full value.
Luci's shadow seeps into a locking mechanism and molds to unlock it in whatever manner it may be.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action to activate. Select a door, lock, or locked target within arm's reach. Cannot be used on Alien technology.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is A deep breath and visibly tensing fingers. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
When in an appropriate light level, Luci's shadow will flare and begin dripping upward like molten ink. It wraps around her arm like a coil and imbues itself into her writing utensil. Luci doodles down what she desires to create. If the drawing is competent enough, her shadows will pool around it and she'll be able to reach into the drawing and pull out whatever item she drew. The drawings can be predone so long as they follow along with the proper prerequisites.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend 1 minute to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Luci must be in sufficient darkness or shade to use this power.. You must actively and obviously use Writing Utensil and a Drawing to activate this Effect.
Choose an Object which could fit inside a messenger bag (up to 10 liters). It cannot be Alien and must be relatively basic. You can create explosives, but they are limited in size to being no larger or more powerful than a satchel charge. You may create firearms.
Roll Perception + Crafts to fabricate your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. Created item lasts 1 hour.
You may keep up to three fabricated objects at a time that do not expire after an hour.
Umbra orders Luci to go forward and traverse the shadows as a scout. During the time limit, Luci and Umbra share the sense of sight. The pain and torment of being stretched thin and being so far away from Umbra is so great for Luci that it minorly manifests on Umbra's body as a collection of cuts along the body. If Luci does a sloppy job, she may incidentally share more than sight with Umbra and overwhelm her senses to the point of requiring a trauma roll.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action to activate. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.
You may perceive things through sight within 500 feet of you as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next five minutes.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is a snap of her fingers and a point of her finger.. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
Any Perception rolls made through obstacles are rolled at +1 Difficulty.
Luci shares a metabolism with her shadow allowing her to sustain herself indefinitely.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You no longer require any food, water, or air in order to survive.
The tattoo possesses a light glow whenever the eye is open, pulsating lightly.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Crosshair tattoo around her right eye.
Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
Luci learned a thing or two from her brother. Her usual item choice for swap is a hairpin, but any item she attunes to seeps into her shadow and in its place produces anything from her stash.
Spend a Free Action to activate.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
Luci effectively blends into shadow and becomes one with them. She is able to move among and around them and as long as she is in sufficient darkness or is carrying an upgraded weapon or piece of armor, she can maintain an invisible form.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Luci must either be in sufficient darkness or she must have an upgraded weapon or piece of armor.. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.
You and any clothes or equipment you are wearing are obscured from sight for the next hour. All attempts to detect you via sight fail. Detection attempts via other senses where sight would assist are rolled at a -2 dice penalty.
Entering Combat or being Injured does not cause the Effect to end early. Anyone you attack will immediately notice you; anyone else may re-roll to notice you each time you take a Combat action, at -1 Difficulty per Combat action you have taken. When the Effect ends, it is disabled for 1 hour.
Self Explanatory - Umbra is really good with guns.
You gain the following benefits as long as as long as The gun must be upgraded per Umbra's own upgrade power. and engaged in combat with Sniper Rifles.
Your attacks with Sniper Rifles deal +3 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
Umbra's shadow will climb up her own body like rolling black rainwater. Black tendrils will shoot to different portions of the wound and slowly close them up. If the wound would have killed her, a line of shadowy stitches will follow along the injury. Reference: Venom.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 10 minutes, starting once it becomes stabilized. Battle Scars caused by your Injuries are also healed when the Injuries that caused them regenerate. Any Injuries you receive stabilize automatically and do not deteriorate further.
As long as at least half your body remains intact, you cannot die and remain at Incapacitated, regardless of how many Injuries you take. It is clear to observers that you are still alive. If you take any Injuries that would kill you, they instead cause Battle Scars which cannot be regenerated through this effect.
Luci takes out her multi-tool and conducts rudimentary maintenance on an object, imbuing it with her shadow. It takes a lot out of her to use, but the result is usually worth it.
On firearms, her shadow will slink along the barrel and firing mechanism, making it far more efficient and adding its own kick to the fired bullet, making it deadlier while also assisting to manage recoil.
On melee weapons, the shadow slinks along the weapon with either barbs or thorns.
On armor, Luci's shadow hides under the armor and when a weapon or source of damage approaches, it seeps out and attempts to block or deflect the incoming damage.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an hour to activate. Select a Device within arm's reach. Can be used on Alien technology. This Effect cannot be used unless Luci must be in sufficient darkness or shade to cast this power.. You must actively and obviously use Multi-Tool/Swiss Army Knife to activate this Effect. Can be used on Armor.
For the next three months, your target receives 3 extra dice to all actions taken with its intended use. If it is a piece of Armor, it instead receives half that amount as bonus armor rating, rounded up , and any armor penalty it causes is reduced by 1.
Upgraded items have half their normal weight, for the purposes of encumbrance.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
Track your current equipment here. You may start with anything your Contractor would reasonably have access to.

Trophies are special objects and equipment.
Examples of Trophies include healing potions, scrolls, sci-fi technology, or any supernatural item that was not created with The Contract's Gift system.
Because Trophies may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Luci was such a lonely and shy child that she only ever had her brother and her imaginary friend, her own shadow, as people she could talk to. At some point in her life, her imaginary friend started to become more real and watch out for her in ways that shouldn't have been possible.
It's very likely that some god or entity took pity on her for being so pathetic that they were like, "holy shit, you need a friend and I got you. As you grow and change, so will your friend."
The only two times this naturally manifested in her at a physical capacity is when she picked up the sniper scope and she was graced with superior sight as well as a tattoo around her right eye.
But as Luci had grown throughout the contract, her imaginary friend gained sentience and become disappointed in Luci's poor performance. So naturally, it jumped at the chance to switch places and show her how it was really done.
