Movement

Movement is taken immediately before OR after your Action. It cannot be split.

All-out Sprint: instead of using free Movement or Dash, you may spend your Action and roll Brawn + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. You move (0 + (Outcome x 5) Feet).

Actions

Attack with your weapon or hands.
Evade by rolling to Defend or Dodge. Your Outcome is "spent" to reduce the Outcome of any incoming attacks until your next Action.
Activate a Power or use an Ability as normal.
Hold your Action by declaring an Action and a triggering event. If the event occurs before your turn on the next Round, you perform the Action.

If you have not yet spent your Action this Round, you may use it as a Reaction.

Reactions

Dodge by rolling Dexterity + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's.
Defend with your weapon by rolling its attack roll. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's. Availability depends on weapon match-up (tap/hover).
Clash with the attacker using the same roll you would use to Defend. The higher Outcome (not contested) is treated as the result of a successful, undefended attack roll against the loser.

Desperate Defense

If you have already used your Action, you may Exert your Mind to perform a Reaction. Your next Round's Action receives a -2 dice penalty. You cannot Clash as a Desperate Defense or React more than once to a given Action.

Will to Survive

Once per Contract, you may reduce the severity of an incoming Injury up to 5 Severity levels (to a minimum of Severity 5). You also take a point of Mind Damage and suffer a Battle Scar as normal.

If an attack's Outcome is positive after defense, it results in a new Injury with Severity = Outcome + Weapon damage - Armor

Outcome 4+ puts the Injury on track to heal clean: its Battle Scar heals with it.
On a Botch, the Injury's Severity increases by 1.
Failed or Botched attempts may be re-attempted at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Makeshift Stabilization

Attempt a major treatment using insufficient or improvised medical equipment.

Roll Intellect + Medicine, Difficulty > Severity

Outcome 1+ will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
However, any Outcome less than 4 increases the Injury’s Severity by 1. Botches also worsen its Battle Scar if it caused one.
Regardless of Outcome, any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will persist after it is fully healed.
Failed or Botched attempts may be retried at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Self-stabilization attempts are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

Biography

Robert Bullock was born in Memphis, TN to James and Mary Bullock. He has two brothers, older one Frank and younger brother James Jr. He grew up with childhood best friend Jon Tucker. In high school he met and started dating the love of his life Heidi Campbell. He was a football star, and she was the head cheerleader. After graduating high school, they got married and had their first child, a daughter. Shortly after, he joined the army and became a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. He spent eight years in the Army during which time they had their second child, a son. His company also gave him the nickname “Bull” as a play off his last name and that he did most of the heavy lifting. After leaving the Army with the rank of Staff Sergeant, he and his family moved to Northaven, TN.

Bull lives on a ranch with his wife of eighteen years, Heidi (35) and his two kids, Ruby (17) and Kyle “Skutter” (14). He's an independent contractor under the name "Bull's Fixin' 4U" that he established with his best friend Jon. The two spend most of their time building houses or performing handyman tasks around town. When he's not working or fixing things around the house, he and Jon are off hunting and having some beers. He has also donated time to charities such as Habitat for Humanity, to build free homes for the homeless. He has an English Bulldog named "Dugger" (4) that goes everywhere with him.
