Reginald Jackson is a "Young" chronic weeaboo who will risk his life to become the ultimate IRL anime protagonist and to purify the corrupt animation industry that plagues this world.

He is 57 years old, lives in the mid west in a cramped basement with his mom, and often appears as a crusty man-child with a stained wife-beater and really small sweatpants with Jesus sandals and wears a fedora unironically.

Actions

Attack with your weapon or hands.
Evade by rolling to Defend or Dodge. Your Outcome is "spent" to reduce the Outcome of any incoming attacks until your next Action.
Activate a Power or use an Ability as normal.
Hold your Action by declaring an Action and a triggering event. If the event occurs before your turn on the next Round, you perform the Action.

If you have not yet spent your Action this Round, you may use it as a Reaction.

Reactions

Dodge by rolling Dexterity + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's.
Defend with your weapon by rolling its attack roll. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's. Availability depends on weapon match-up (tap/hover).
Clash with the attacker using the same roll you would use to Defend. The higher Outcome (not contested) is treated as the result of a successful, undefended attack roll against the loser.

Desperate Defense

If you have already used your Action, you may Exert your Mind to perform a Reaction. Your next Round's Action receives a -2 dice penalty. You cannot Clash as a Desperate Defense or React more than once to a given Action.

Will to Survive

Once per Contract, you may reduce the severity of an incoming Injury up to 5 Severity levels (to a minimum of Severity 5). You also take a point of Mind Damage and suffer a Battle Scar as normal.

If an attack's Outcome is positive after defense, it results in a new Injury with Severity = Outcome + Weapon damage - Armor

An Outcome of 1 or greater will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
Outcome 4+ puts the Injury on track to heal clean: its Battle Scar heals with it.
On a Botch, the Injury's Severity increases by 1.
Failed or Botched attempts may be re-attempted at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Makeshift Stabilization

Attempt a major treatment using insufficient or improvised medical equipment.

Roll Intellect + Medicine, Difficulty > Severity

Outcome 1+ will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
However, any Outcome less than 4 increases the Injury’s Severity by 1. Botches also worsen its Battle Scar if it caused one.
Regardless of Outcome, any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will persist after it is fully healed.
Failed or Botched attempts may be retried at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Self-stabilization attempts are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

Light Sleeper You are able to function with less sleep than most people. You need only four hours of sleep per night, and any supernatural attempts to put you to sleep are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

Ugly A hideous disfigurement makes your appearance disturbing and memorable. Any rolls that involve physical appearance in some way are at +2 difficulty. Social interactions should be roleplayed with this Condition in mind.

Nimble Fingers Your fingers are particularly long and slender. You receive a +2 dice bonus to any action that requires fine manual dexterity.

Biography

Reginald was your average basement dwelling loser who had to much time on his hands, he was to lazy to get a job and to ugly to be an influencer, so he spent his time watching anime and browsing the darker sides of the internet like reddit. He began to research the occult in order to fulfill his twisted desires. His mother was a woman to nice for her own good and she did everything Reginald asked, bought his computer, his body pillow, his fedora and trench coat, everything, and Reginald being the entitled bastard he is took it all for granted. The only thing he cares about is his beloved Miku-Tan who he has dedicated his life to.
