Circumstances

Circumstances describe your situation.

Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.

Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

Finances: Average
From Assets and Liabilities
You can live stably off your money. You have access to $2,500 (or equivalent currency) per Contract.

Conditions

Conditions describe your state of being.

Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.

Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.

Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

From Assets and Liabilities
Jaded You are difficult to disturb, perhaps because of a traumatic past, or perhaps you're just emotionally detached. You only have two Limits, instead of the normal three.

Loose Ends

Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.

Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.

All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.

You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Biography

Lozzotum Farengi Grew up a very normal but social awkward child. Living life with few friends and a mundane schooling he spent his entire childhood gaming any minute given to him. Beyond doing very well in school he had no excitement. As he entered his teen years he continued his rigorous studies but when given spare time he still spent it on everything nerd; tabletop gaming, manga, anime, and lots of computer gaming. His parents died a week after his high school graduation in a tragic 17 car pile up and in his crazed grief he sought to escape into his hobbies fully even changing his name to a character from a tabletop game. He stopped his studies devolving into a shut in. One day he attempted a summoning ritual from a video game he had played deluded into thinking it would work when suddenly it did and a goblin stood before him. The shock and fright of the event had finally woken him from his grief induced stupor. Now he is back to studying and attempting to learn more about his summons but he still pursues his hobbies and passions. Now with his newfound power and the call of the contracts he seeks to improve his hobbies from the top. He has become discontent with modern games and monetization and has sworn to improve the industry by hostile takeover using his monopoly to solve the crisis of his hobbies.
