A young fit man, with sandy brown hair and blue eyes. His face and hands are marked with small scars. He has a bit of a drawl in his speech. He has thin tattoos all along his body denoting the major organs in a kind of dotted outline and the time to bleed out if any of them are punctured.
The only survivor of the now defunct Hect cult. Started in the image of the "Messiah" Jethro Hect the cult was a far right fringe combination of biblical puritanism, occult death worship, and doomsday prepper. The basic tenants of the cult taught that only through the acceptance of death could true life on earth be attained through gods mercy. The cults final act of rebellion involved a kind of death lottery where only one member would be chosen to survive the cult and to spread their word by starting a new branch and repeating the cycle. Gaius was that lucky winner and at the age of 9 vowed to break the cycle.
After the police raid and the follow up autopsy's and investigations Giaus was placed into a foster family. He spent most of his young life in therapy attempting to repress the memories of being brought up in the cult. This delayed his development somewhat so Giaus routinely fell back on the skills taught and promoted by the cult, mainly smooth talking and coercion. He eventually graduated and sought the most isolating job that he could. He became a janitor and has lived somewhat happily for the last 6 years. His adopted parents have passed and he was saddened but Giaus always felt like he was somewhat destined to be alone. It was only recently on the day of his 25th birthday that he received a mysterious package.
The package initially looked like a standard UPS brown box. Somewhat on the larger side but unremarkable. Inside however was something much darker. In individually marked police evidence bags were dozens of items from the cult. Some of them were mundane like hairbrushes and bloody shoes, but several of the items in the box have strong importance to the cult. Mainly a large book bound in human skin, with indecipherable writing inside. At the top of the box was just a simple piece of folded paper and a messy scrawl "The seed must be planted, restart the cycle"
At the bottom of the note is a small bit of scrawl that turned out to be banking information. There is a monthly rolling deposit of money into an account for one Hect LLC.
