Circumstances describe your situation.
Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.
Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Conditions describe your state of being.
Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.
Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.
Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.
Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.
All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.
You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Jasper Caine is a middle-aged man from New York who moved to Massachusetts after making a deal with an eldritch entity he summoned as an attempt to gain some sort of an advantage over others in the job market. His entire life is almost entirely dedicated to his job, of which is making deals and gaining favors from people. The worst kind of loan shark; a competent one.
He very much enjoys seeing numbers go up, and while he says he doesn't quite care for material things, that's not entirely true. He just doesn't care for them as much as he does being owed a favor. It must be in that eldritchian blood that has now dug itself deep into him. Deals have become such an important part of his mind, soul, and body, that he finds himself being physically drawn to making more of them, as well as, for some reason, finding himself with an appetite for inflicting pain on others, either through physically hurting them or by making them do something they don't want to do, or more commonly, watching a video of someone who he indirectly caused great hardship to.
An example would be making an unofficial deal with someone and then being "forced" to make an anonymous call on them, getting them locked up for life, or paying a hired gun to do terrible things to them and record it before sending it to him. Things like that.
