    Imbued After accepting your first Invitation to a Contract, you are Imbued, altering you in several ways. After completing a Contract, your learning and conditioning improves rapidly. However, you require the Contracts to advance. You have an indomitable Will to Survive. You may Exert your Mind to improve the Outcome of your Actions. You are highly receptive to therapy and may "cure" one of your Traumas with counseling on a Downtime.
    Sensitive You're emotionally fragile, and very likely to be mentally and emotionally scarred by your experiences. You have four Limits, instead of the usual three.
    Nimble Fingers Your fingers are particularly long and slender. You receive a +2 dice bonus to any non-combat Action that requires fine manual dexterity.
    Lanky You are particularly tall and have long limbs. Your "touch" range is ten feet instead of the standard five.
    Nightmares: The day you were turned into a ghoul Your sleep is plagued with horrible nightmares. At the start of each Contract and each time you fall asleep, make a Self-Control roll. If you fail, you take one Mind damage.
    Paranoia You have a natural distrust of everyone around you, and are always on edge looking for threats. You must roll Self Control in order to let another person remain in a position where they could easily hurt you, or to allow someone else to perform a task which is necessary to keep yourself safe. If you fail, you may Exert your Mind to overcome your fear.
    Short Fuse You have major issues controlling your temper. Whenever tensions run high or someone disrespects you, you must roll Self-Control not to escalate the situation or have a violent reaction.
    Deep Sleeper You require more sleep than most people, and are quick to fall asleep but slow to wake up. All attempts to put you to sleep succeed automatically. A full restful sleep requires at least 10 hours of sleep. Attempts to wake you up while sleeping, as well as Perception checks you make while you’re sleeping, are at +2 difficulty.
    Glass Jaw You are easily knocked out. Whenever you take an Injury that is Severity 4 or higher, or if you take any blow to your head, you pass out for the next Round. When you pass out, you drop what was in your hands, fall to the ground, cannot move, and cannot take any Actions.

    Biography

    A writer of an introspective graphic novel, "What is Human", Matthew Alan writes and draws the feelings and emotions of those incapable of expressing themselves to the average man. He desires control of all things, through creation and fabrication, with the assistance of his notebook and of whatever else he so finds useful in his journey to godhood.

    Living in his dingy 1 bedroom apartment laid with trash bags filled with papers and broken canvases, where the majority of all his income goes, he is what most would call a starving artist. One day, he finds himself a strange notebook... One that seems to have parts of it sealed off, as though he lacks a certain something to continue flipping through the first page. Although the countless pages are still locked away from Matthew's hands, he can create many, many things with just that first page of endless pages. With that, he continues to draw, not knowing, or particularly caring about what follows.
