Ted Turner is an Ex Convict who grew up in the foster system. He eventually found purpose in an environmental activism group (The Planeteers)when he was 16. He became radicalized and dropped out of school to support their goals full time. He was eventually caught attempting to blow up an oil executive's private jet when he was 17. His trial was somewhat high profile, and the oil executive used their considerable wealth to and influence to paint .e in the most unfavorable light possible. The judge tried me as an adult and I was sentences to 20 years in jail for second degree attempted murder. I got out after 16 years for good behavior. While I was in prison I spent most of my time reading books on the Anarchism, The Occult and ancient religions. He became particularly interested in the Greek Goddess Gaea, and committed himself to her worship and to ending the environmental threat represented by the ultra rich and the oil industry. Once released from jail, he couldn't get a regular job because of his notoriety, so he worked odd jobs and also received a little support from the Planeteers and was able to buy an old RV (think the RV from breaking bad) and a couple of acres of cheap scrub land in Southern Colorado to park it on. He generally avoids large towns to avoid being recognized, and became a contractor because he realized that no regular person could achieve his goals, and he would need to become something more than human to save the planet.
