Grew up in the Bronx, a working class neighborhood. My father was a union electrician. My mother was a beautician. When I was 12, my mother got cancer and my father's medical insurance didn't cover the treatments. We went into massive debt, and my mother died anyway. He sold the house and we moved into a small rundown apartment. He died when i finished high school--of a broken heart. I never graduated. School was fine but mostly just about getting people to work corporate slave jobs. I did enough to pass but was mostly focused on drawing. i was always doodling. I hung out at some tattoo shops and started picking up the techniques just by watching. When I turned 18 and my father died and started actually doing basic tattoos, and people loved my work. I just picked up more and more, and that's it. I make enough money to get around, cover my basics easy. I'm pretty known in the tattoo world. I get travel money covered whenever I get booked at shops and get work, no problem. I have traveled the world on no money and usually get put up wherever I go. I'm also very interested in the occult and hit libraries and old bookstores in every town I visit. I also participate in street protest actions and direct anti-corporate actions. I've sabotaged a corporate office or two. Any time she isn't actively engaged with something, she is drawing in her sketchbook, coming up with new tattoo ideas.
