By placing this vest on dog Inkz can give it one more sense to utilize while tracking. It becomes keenly specialized at hunting down Cryptid creatures.

Expend a point of Battery and spend one minute. This Effect cannot be used unless Must Be placed on a dog to be used.

You automatically detect all Cryptid Creatures within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no Cryptid Creatures targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no Cryptid Creatures within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

Any Cryptid Creatures detected while this Effect is active are “marked”. You will continue to detect them until the Effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the Effect ends, so long as they remain within 50 feet of you.

All Cryptid Creatures who you can sense are equally able to sense you.

While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

Community Detect Beings Gifts

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: pull your hat over your eyes and wiggle your fingers in front of your face chanting “hat of the magus reveal the magic to me!”. You must actively and obviously use cone-shaped hat with stars and moons to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all magical beings within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 25 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
  • Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures up to 50 feet away.

  • When you are within 25 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.
  • Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must use up a 10 mile map of the surrounding area being Surveyed in order to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.

You automatically detect all alien creatures within 10 miles of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Any alien creatures detected while this Effect is active are “marked”. You will continue to detect them until the Effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the Effect ends, so long as they remain within 10 miles of you.

You receive type/class of creature Fairy, dragon, Wendigo etc…. for each being you detect.

While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use Hat to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Supernatural being within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Supernatural being come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all humans within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
