A bit of a gambler, he won this lupe in a game of cards some time back. The man he bought it from was a lost steampunk explorer, down on his luck and desperate for a small quantity of radium for some reason.
As Dr Scab pulls out his lupe and carefully examines the object in question, strange illusions can be caught in the lupe lens's reflection such as eyes, teeth, or flames but Scab doesn't seem to notice or mind, simply turning a little disk at the end presumably tweaking the focus.

The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

Using the beacon of the Ferryman's Lantern, Widow learns the life of the fallen to that they may be remembered. As the Mexicans remember their dead, and as the great angels of death of the past once sang the lives of the souls they reaped, Widow holds the memories of the dead.

Bill is an avid investigator. He has spent his career hunting the next big lead. As he has begun delving deeper into the world of the supernatural he has started to manifest abilities. He has been granted the ability to see people in the objects that have had pass interactions with. Bill just needs to hold the object and open his mind to aether. As Bill manifests his power his eyes go completely white, as if his pupils don't exist. He can learn who has interacted with the object.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Select a target Object within arm's reach. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
- Determine if this target is Alien in origin or whether it has any Alien energy or outside influences.
- You receive a visual description telling you who has used this object recently.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
Cthulhu Concentration
Cthulhu-like tentacles come out of the lens and touch the object all over and makes sure they know where this came from.
Spend 2 Actions to activate. Select a target Object within arm's reach. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Alertness at Difficulty 6.

- You gather information about where the object was made and when.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Cthulhu-like tentacles come out of the lens.

The Thief examines an object closely for a minute to appraise its value. As their eyes dance across the subject, their pupils split vertically, and their irises fade to gold. If it is a particularly valuable item, the Thief may greedily lick their lips, revealing a forked tongue.
Within a minute, they have determined how materially valuable the object is and why.
