When you hunt vampires you need to know more information than is giving. This will give a better idea of what is around me and what I can really do.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use luckyshoes to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
- You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of creatures have moved through the area and when.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

The Dungeon map

The wearer places his pencil on the notebook and begins to concentrate. Over time, a map appears on one of the pages of his notebook.
Expend a point of Battery and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their body and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Battle Scar: Weak stomach. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.

- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
One with nature
Hawthorne Sticks their palm out toward the plant life in the area as sinewy organic string propel onto it. This connects Hawthorne to the ground's nervous systems and networks of plants and fungi. She analyzes how the plants have reacted and what particular effects they have gone through to ascertain information on the environment.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet This Effect cannot be used unless The area being investigated must contain plant life. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Science at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
- You learn about any traps or ambushes in the area. Using this power does not trigger said traps or ambushes.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
Scoping out the opposition
“Give me a moment, I know a guy.”
Yado takes the phone. He hears a familiar voice; his contact from the other side.
The contact proceeds to pit a copy of his astral corpus to fight in a gun fight against astral manifestations of the world itself, trying to stop Yado from achieving his goals. The better the astral corpus of Yado performs, the better is the information that he receives about the area.
You have to know the turf, so that you are able to hit the opposition where it hurts. That’s how you gain in this game.
Spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use a hand gun to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Dexterity + Firearms at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell how many living things have died in this area, what they were, and roughly when the deaths occurred.
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.

Whispers of the Dead
“Turn left. Walk forward. I died behind the pipe…” you hear around David, as he finishes his candle-lit meditation.
David seems to focus, and around him in the air you can hear audible whispers in the voices of those that have died in this area, directing him towards their corpses.
David has meddled many a time in the realm and affairs of the Dead by now. He has even wrestled with them, tearing into one of their realms. The Dead have begun to call to him. To seek for him to find them. And so, in his ears, they sometimes whisper….
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 1 mile At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell how many living things have died in this area, what they were, and roughly when the deaths occurred.
- You learn the specific physical location of human corpses in this area
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Calling of the 20XXth Gnomish Council
Nomie carefully lays down rocks and trinkets in a circle. Snacks go in the middle. One little head, four five ten. The gnomes convene, and the provider of snacktime picks the topic.
Off they run, one by one, each scurrying into nooks and crannies, under brush and foot. Each return carrying back a little trinket quite telling of what they've found.

- You learn about any traps or ambushes in the area. Using this power does not trigger said traps or ambushes.
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Set the Scene
The detective pulls out their magnifying glass and investigates the area, learning details about any nearby structures and picking up details on what sorts of beings have passed through and when.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use a magnifying glass to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell the age of any structure or natural formation in the area. This includes trees and plants growing in the area.
- You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of Animate beings have moved through the area and when.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Scents and Signs
The beastmaster puts their nose to the ground and sniffs about the area. Their feral nostrils tell them what sorts of creatures live in the area, and who lays claim to each region.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet Can only be activated while you are in the wilderness. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Survival at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell which entities lay claim to each part of the area and how these borders have shifted over time.
- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
