Requires Seasoned
The power to transform into a non-humanoid creature.
Used by Connor Inkz, Created by jwesley123.
(Your transition from one form to the next is obvious to all observers. )

Inkz can make anything now into the perfect canvas for his art. Regardless of where he is he can make it the best canvas for this specific environment.

Exert your Mind (unless Being Used on someone other then yourself) and spend one minute. This Effect cannot be used unless To Be Targeted by this power the target must have a magic tattoo on it.

You transform into any large or giant animal until you transform into something else or choose to return to your original form. See the Extended System text for stats.

While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. The equipment you are wearing does not transform with you.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.

Instead of transforming yourself, you may choose to target another Living being. The target may easily Resist.

While transformed, you may speak and use any Influence or Communication Powers you posses.

  • Animals that are quicker than humans (like dogs) have 50 feet of Free Movement. Animals that are very slow (like turtles) have 0 feet of Free Movement.
  • You cannot transform if there is not enough room to do so.

Community Power Gifts

Spend an Action. A number of Sapient, Living targets within 50 feet who can perceive you through no greater than your Charisma rating are affected. Audiences or mobs with a singular focus count as one target. Roll Charisma + Culture at Difficulty 6. All affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

If you succeed, the targets will keep their full attention focused on you for contested as long as you maintain Concentration. They will automatically fail any rolls related to noticing anything other than you.

If you pass from their perception and they are unable to pursue you, the Effect ends. If they can follow you, they must do so for 2 Rounds or the Effect will end. The Effect ends early if the target is Injured or violence occurs nearby.

This does not affect the targetā€™s opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Actions while affected (including attacking), as long as that action centers on you. Fascinated targets cannot Concentrate.

You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking. The target does not roll to resist, and beating their Outcome does not fascinate them.

This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

  • You must retain Concentration to keep up the effect; if your Concentration is interrupted, the effect will end.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

"Guns are clunky, unpredictable, loud, cumbersome.

Knives are messy, dangerous, cruel and frankly... a tad too personal for my taste...

Now you see - what separates a true professional from an amateur is lethal, cold and calculated precision - any dimwit is capable of take a life, mutilate another living being until what's left is little more than an unrecognizable pile of meat.

Any hooligan can riddle their mark with lead until it starts taking on the likeness of Swiss cheese.

But you see patience is a virtue in our line of work - and It takes an exceptionally virtuous individual to wait for the opportune moment, pick out the nicks in their target's defense before striking at just the right angle and putting the mark down in one clean and mercifully lethal blow - someone like yours truly."

You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with thrown weapons.

Your attacks with thrown weapons no longer have their damage capped, and do +1 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

This Power only affects a specific type of object that is designed to be thrown such as shurikens or throwing knives.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Juggler: You may juggle a number of throwable objects equal to your Dexterity as a Free Action. When you make a thrown weapon attack, you may choose to roll or re-use the last thrown attack's Outcome. Resets at the start of Initiative.
  • Ricochet: You can make a thrown attack against a target behind cover so long as there is at least one exposed pathway to them.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a timepiece to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. This Effect remains active for two hours.

As long as you are conscious, you are immune to falling Damage. Additionally, you may glide as you fall, traveling 35 feet horizontally for every 10 feet you fall. While gliding, you fall at a minimum speed of 10 feet per Round.

You may ascend into the air and fly using your mind. Your Free Movement is Mind x5 feet/Round, including vertically. You cannot Dash. When sprinting, roll Mind and add your rating in Mind plus 1 to the outcome, multiply by 5 to find your sprint speed. Your encumbrance limit is 10 lbs per point of Mind.

You are subject to the following effects while gliding or flying:

  • Space Cadet: You can fly in any atmosphere, even in a complete vacuum (this does not give you the ability to breathe or survive in a vacuum). While flying through a vacuum, you may slowly accelerate to near light speed, allowing you to traverse space, given enough time.
  • Commercial Flight: This Effect is suppressed any time you are over-encumbered. However, you may carry up to 1 passengers without increasing your Encumbrance. Any passengers must maintain physical contact with you or another passenger, or they will fall.

  • Any penalties to dice or movement, including from Encumbrance, are applied as normal. If your movement is reduced to 0 due to encumbrance, you will begin to sink down to the ground.
  • You may activate this Effect while in midair, allowing you to slow and survive any free fall.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Dados Muertes.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

  • Poker Face: You never give any outward indication of dishonesty. It is impossible to tell that you are lying, and you are able to fool any method of lie detection without making a roll.

  • In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to detect a lie from particularly powerful beings (trickster gods, etc).
  • In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to lie to particularly powerful beings.
  • If your Dados Muertes is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

Spend 2 Actions. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Influence at Difficulty 6.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You learn Fears: (phobias, worries, insecurities).

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is sniffing the target. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
