Bu Fang spending many many years as a chef assistant chopping up tofu, radish, onions and the likes, has built up his dexterity. His body starts developing Qi which condenses into a dantian in between his stomach and his naval. A small mark showing right there.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Dantian (right between his stomach and naval).

Your Dexterity rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Bullet Time: Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to make a single dodge roll that applies its full Outcome to any attacks made against you that Round, including ones which cannot ordinarily be dodged, such as bullets.
  • The Best Defense: You may take any actions as a Reaction, other than Effect activations. You must target whatever you are Reacting to, if applicable.

  • If your Dantian (right between his stomach and naval) is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

  • Infinity-Jointed: Your body is incredibly flexible, allowing you to maneuver and squeeze through tight spots as if you were the size of a cat, and you get +3 dice to rolls which require extreme flexibility, such as escaping grapples.
  • Track Star: You may always move at your full Dash speed without any penalty.

  • Reminder: to calculate the distance you can dash in one Round of combat, add together Dexterity + Brawn + 1, and multiply that by 5 feet.
