The red shoe lace quickly increases in length and winds itself around it's user into a chest harness and two wing-like loops. It can also wind itself around another person at the users choice carrying them around with the user. The user is able to levitate at high speeds while the wing-loops extend from them. After ten seconds the laces retract back to their normal length and lose their red color.
Use up this shoe lace and spend a Free Action to activate.
You may levitate off the ground at six times your normal walking speed. The effect lasts for the next three rounds, though you may choose to end it at will.
You may carry up to 1 passengers without increasing your Encumbrance. Any passengers must maintain physical contact with you or another passenger or the effect will end for them.
As the user raises the cigarette up to their mouth and lights it with a match or lighter, the smoke from the cigarette would begin to encase the body of the user. All before it would completely envelope them. Obscuring them from the sight of anyone that looked.
Use up this Cigarette and spend one minute to activate.
You and any clothes or equipment you are wearing are partially obscured from sight for the next 10 minutes. All attempts to detect you using sight are rolled at a -3 dice penalty, and all attempts to detect you where sight would assist are rolled at -1 penalty.
Entering Combat or being Injured does not cause the Effect to end early. Anyone you attack will immediately notice you; anyone else may re-roll to notice you each time you take a Combat action, at -1 Difficulty per Combat action you have taken. When the Effect ends, it is disabled for 1 minute.
Way of use: It's just snorting cocaine.
Change in character apperance: higher blood pressure so very visible weins, eys turning silver like mercury swirling around and glowing softly, all hair on the body becomes white (dosen't go away after effect ends)
What user is feeling: "Your heart starts to race out of your chest, your vision becomes like an overwxposed photo, andrenaline rushes like time in itself starts to slow down, and your legs just burn to run and run and run for miles on end... It's the best feeling in the world man." Ęneasz
Use up this Suspicious white powder in a zipper bag (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7) and spend an Action.
Lasts 1 minute. Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is tripled.
Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
If you go a round without using your Movement, you immediately collapse and must remain immobile and resting for the same duration of time you previously spent moving.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
He sees the wounded ally and walks up to the warm/body, rubs a bit of this bottle on them and they’re all better!

- **Substance Addiction: Alcohol** ; You are addicted to a specific substance. Any time you encounter that substance, you must roll Self-Control. If you fail, you must consume it, and if you botch, you will Overdose. You are unable to regain any Mind from resting unless you have consumed the substance that day.
OR / AND
- **Substance Dependence: Alcohol** You are dependent on a specific substance. Any time you fail a Self Control or Trauma roll you must roll Self-Control. If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on the same patient.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
A condensed ball of The Flesh detaches from your body, undulating on its own. When it comes in contact with its intended target, it will force its way into their form, granting terrifying visions of what it could do.
Take a Severity-1 Injury, spend an Action, and use up this condensed ball of The Flesh. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain a new Trauma selected by the GM. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
This is a one-time use to call Jacob's Soul now. Talk to him or get his advice on occult knowledge (8 dice).
When a corner of the business card is ripped off, a visual and auditory connection to Jacob Sterns is being created. The dialogue partner will appear like a small hologram on each participants shoulder and can be switched to a video feed of the partner's eyes. To close the line, rip off another corner of the business card or destroy it fully. Loses its power if Jacob Sterns dies.

You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
The hacker is capable of crafting bottles of nanites. When poured on a broken object, the nanites go to work restoring it to a functioning state. The goop shimmers and crawls, sparking with blue electricity as it reforms broken parts.
Spend 10 Rounds and use up this a bottle of metallic fluid. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. Cannot be used on Alien technology. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target.
After consuming the tainted food or drink, the target transforms into a llama!
Use up this vial of extract of llama and spend an Action to turn food or drink into a trap. This trap lasts until triggered or disarmed. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply.
The trap looks like food or drink. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any Living target within within arm's reach that uses the trap as food or drink will trigger it. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives two new Battle Scars of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:
If you inflict two Extreme (Outcome > 3) Battle Scars on the target, you may transform them fully into another species.
All alterations you make must turn the target into a llama.
The Battle Scars you inflict manifest over the course of the next minute.
The mad scientist produces thorium cores that can be used to upgrade tools and other devices. The core supercharges the item, increasing its quality and rendering it indestructible for a period. However, once the core runs dry, the object is rendered less useful than it was before. The core crackles with blue electricity while active.
Spend 1 Action and use up this glowing blue disk. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
Lasts the next two hours. Your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +2 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed.
After the Effect ends, any upgraded targets suffer a -2 dice penalty until they are either repaired or upgraded again.
The Witch prepares a vial of green fluid that can be used to poison any food or drink. Anyone who consumes the poison will grow drowsy and then fall into a deep sleep. While unconscious, the victim dreams of the witch and learns a secret about them.
Use up this vial of green liquid and spend an Action to turn food or drink into a trap.
Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
When the trap is triggered, your target becomes drowsy for the next 3 Rounds, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. At the end of their drowsiness, they fall asleep for Outcome x 3 hours.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, and can only be awoken by taking Damage or nearing death from hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
An affected target's dreams while they are asleep will involve you in some way, and will reveal you as the source of their sleep as well as reveal secret information about yourself to them.
The Future Soldier learned to create foam grenades in their own time period, and they still can, kinda. They look like glowing orange capsules with a rugged rubberized grip. When thrown, they burst into a splash of expanding neon orange foam. The foam hardens in seconds, severely hampering the movement of anyone unlucky enough to have been splashed. Those affected may use their hands or weapons to hack away at the foam and free themselves.
Occasionally, the fuses on these bootleg grenades fails, and they go off immediately.
Spend an Action and use up this small metallic grenade with pin (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7). Make a thrown attack at a Location within normal attack range. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you are hit as it activates immediately at your present location. The target may roll to dodge or defend, as normal for thrown attacks. The attack does not deal Damage, but the Effect does.
If you succeed, all affected targets will be restricted at their location by a physical, tangible binding. They can still move their arms and use Effects, but are reduced to ¼ of their movement speed.
The binding around a target must be destroyed in order for them to break free. Breaking the binding requires a total amount of Damage equal to twice the original Contested Outcome. Damage from multiple attacks is cumulative and stacks linearly.
