Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an hour to activate. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. For the next day, your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken with its intended use. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed. If it is a piece of Armor, it instead receives half that amount as bonus armor rating, rounded up.

When the barrier is activated a pair of ethereal curtains close in front of her, and reopen when the barrier falls. While her barrier is active she appears to be surrounded by an aura of shimmering light.

If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 4 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
The barrier will fall after two hours, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Dr. Freeman is a master of surgical transplants and inter-species grafting. He may perform a surgery that permanently alters the body of his patient by incorporating a part from another creature. This can range from a facial transplant to replacing a lost arm with a tiger's paw.

The werewolf's gnashing teeth sheer through steel and bone alike. Those caught in their maw rarely make it out alive.

+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +0 Weapon Damage (instead of -1). The target's Armor is fully effective against this Damage.

While transformed, the werewolf's toughened hide provides protection from all manner of attacks, except silver.

You have 4 Armor, which reduces incoming damage from all sources of physical attack except silver. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
Any Injury received from Damage that was reduced by this Armor is considered makeshift stabilized and will not degrade further. Any Battle Scar received from such an Injury is reduced by 1 level to a minimum of a Minor Battle Scar.

As long as you are conscious, you are immune to falling Damage. Additionally, you may glide as you fall, traveling 35 feet horizontally for every 10 feet you fall. While gliding, you fall at a minimum speed of 10 feet per Round.
