This Effect activates whenever a cryptid kills any living thing. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour.

Even if there are no cryptids within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.
All cryptids who you can sense are equally able to sense you.
The Dragon Slayer has carved a modified rune onto a stone and added it to their necklace, expanding its range from the detection of dragons and their kin to the detection of all monstrous creatures. The runestone lights up with a magical glow when it detects a monster nearby, and can have its accuracy improved by empowering it with additional mana.

Any supernatural beings detected while this Effect is active are โmarkedโ. You will continue to detect them until the Effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the Effect ends, so long as they remain within 100 miles of you.
You learn basic information about why each detected being is being detected. For example, if you detect Criminals, you may learn how many crimes they have committed and what type.
You receive a recognisable aura signature for each being you detect.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see a great discomfort to all observers.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

Bankston raises the ornate scales high, uttering a commanding language reminiscent of a judge laying out a judgment. With a deft motion, he positions nettle and Mugwort leaves on opposite sides of the scales, Flames igniting on there own. By intentionally criminal beings i mean to target beings that have an activate understanding and engagement with society and laws, they just chose to break those laws anyways.
Victims of crimes i mean individuals who are actively having a crime committed against them. some one being attacked in the streets, or kidnapped, or just got robbed an hour ago. People are not Victims forever.

The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when a battle begins, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants.
